One might ask DavidW if he's willing to update SCS, but he seems to be busy... and it's not a bug with SCS... wouldn't that be something to be implemented for example into the BG2Fixpack, necessary for everyone? :blink:

I guess if you don't like certain mods you'll have to uninstall everything, install again (minus the "bad" mods) and start a new game. Anyway, I would always recommed first to have a look what one is actually installing to prevent such problems. More mods=more changes...

The installation itself is not affected. If during the download process somethings goes awry, just download the mod by yourself. The linklist can be found here:

Well, I have no idea. I am not even aware of a mod which changes the quest. :huh:
I only know that I had (in an unmodyfied game) sometimes problems with triggers, but could solve all of them via resting or waiting.

provide you an answer? Did you install NEJ? Or, if not, did certain NPCs die in BG1 (Minsc, Dynaheir, Khalid etc.)?

(The Rod of Refugee thing is intended and if one misuses it or not is one's own choice, I guess... :) )

@Turambar: Could you tell us which subcomponents you mean? So all these subcomponents should not be installed (for example in the BWP) if BP-Ascension is not installed?

BG1 Mini Quests and Encounters. Go to the map where one can find the guy with the slimes and the exit of Nashkell mine after one killed Mulahey. Search for skulls there.

Breagar / Ascalon's mods: They're in German and should not be installed in an English-only installation. Should.

I suggested some months ago that ALL mods should be put into the linklist at Kerzenburg, but that I would not be the person to do that... But I'll post it at Kerzenburg, maybe Xicloing or somebody else will do something.
(And these items were not only overpowered, but also changed normal items instead of introducing optional ones, what dorove many people who had not read the readme crazy...)

A standard installation with some tactic-mods and without big mods (takes too long and still many bugs, I think) is really worth the time.
@Lollorian: If you finally decide to play it, make a Let's Play and upload it at youtube, so that we can all see it... :P

Fix 1.1 is in the fixpack. Fix 1.4 is currently available and should be included in the fixpack instead of 1.1.

It might be more interesting to use DavidW's Icewind Dale in Baldurs Gate mod. A beta can already be found at G3. I have, however, no idea where DavidW has gone... and I alos doubt that it could be integrated into the BWP.

This bug was reported by only one person until now (as mentioned at the very beginning of the thread) and I have not tested the fix. Since one should drop it into the override after the installation, it should be possible to do that after one really encountered the problem (even if one than had to use an earlier save).
