HOURI, a truly charming kit A female bard that specializes in magic dealing with enchantment/charm. Houris, or Nymphs of Paradise to give a better description, are a very specialist sub-class of bard, their speciality being concerned with spells of enchantment and charming. They also have the power to seduce single humanoid males and the ability to hide in the shadows and pick pocket as thieves. Prime Requisite for a Houri is Charisma (their voluptuously alluring beauty being very evident), which must be at least 15. Intelligence and Dexterity must also be at least 12. They may wear no armour; indeed, the less clothing they wear, the more effective they are. Houris must be human, elven or half-elven. Houris spell progression is the same as a bard. Houri seduction is like a bard song it has a mixture of dance, gesture and song but the major difference is it only affects one humanoid male. At 1st level the houri seduction has a modifier of +2 if a save vs. rods is failed the victim is seduced and is held (as per hold person). A 7th level houri reduces the modifier to +1 save vs. rods and a 12th level houri has no modifier to seduction and failure to save results in charm person. Seduction at 15th has a -1 modifier save vs. rods but failure to save against results in a dire charm being placed on the victim. At 18th Level the modifier is -2. For every two points of charisma above 18 a -1 modifier is applied to a save against seduction, therefore a charisma score of 20 will result in an individual saving against a seduction attempt at -1, with a score 22 the save would be made at -2 and a score of 24 would mean a save of -3. A seduced male will drop his weapons and be held as per 3rd level wizard hold person spell. In such a state he is extremely vulnerable to houri magic or pickpocket attempts. Seduction cannot be used against other females except homosexual ones. Seduction lasts for a number of rounds equal to the houri's level, or until broken. Seduction can only be used on a single individual at a time.
