I dont know if this has been brought up before, but Ill try anyway. From my understanding of Bucklers they were designed to wear on the forearm held on by two straps leaving the off hand still usable for a dagger or a bow string because of their compact size. In other words dual wielding should be possible as long as the off hand carried no bigger than a dagger. Although I dont know if this is doable in the infinity engine. Has this ever been brought up?

Ok I agree that romances are getting out of hand, Edwin and Mazzy romances in the works for example, but I look at this from a different perspective. I also agree that a romance with a vampire is not in the best interest of the PC, but from a vampire's perspective Valen has much to gain from an involvement with a Bhaal Spawn. So does the player see the forest throuugh the trees, and repel the vampires advances or does he/she give in to their sexual urges? Methinks we see dark and troubled times brewing for our favorite Bhaal Spawn. Use Romance/Redemption as bait for the hook. Nothing like throwing a vampire into the mix to stir up the shit storm. Now that I believe makes for a good expansion to the Valen mod.

i have over 20 meg worth of portraits i downloaded from lady nightshade before she went "poof", and as all of you in the community know, she had absolutely the best portraits ever, and tashia's default portrait is better than almost all of them...i initially downloaded her just cause she is so pretty...

Well theres no accounting for taste user.   BTW in Tasha file it uses TashaM not TashaL.bmp. So TashaL will not replace TashaM, unless you rename it.

Under Global Variables I noticed one that said TashiaKnows=3. Is this involved with her finding out PC is a BhaalSpawn? Does this affect the romance in anyway? I always associate anything romance related 3s as a bad thing. Should I dodge BhaalSpawn questions from her?

I would see this romance as a struggle of wills, vampires see control as a means of survival. So after Bodhis out of the picture, Valens need to dominate should eminate in ex. making others like her. I also see consequences for those who seek a romance with her, will she become more like you or will you become more like her, like that quote for those that stare into the Abyss.

Wow this discussion has gone on almost a year, sorry I missed it. Well... Ill put my two cents in anyway. Vampires throughout time have always been seductive sexual creatures, have you seen any movie where they are portrayed otherwise. Indeed its necessary for their survival this is why they have the ability to charm. Just think of Bram Stokers Dracula, remember the movie with Winona Ryder there is no doubt a romance. And even in the original AD&D module Vault of the Drow by none other than Gary Gygax (who wrote the first AD&D rulebooks) there was a Drow Vampire in a relationship with a Succubus. So I see no problem with having a romance involving Valen. Not your traditional love story, but thats what makes it an interesting change of pace. BTW has this been decided one way or another? Whats the latest from Wes?
