I was just playing the pirate island from the bookhunter quest and want to give a little feedback on this, as it happened on my installation (I am using v 1.09).

1) None of the pirate zombies did move up or fought back during the fights, they just stood on their spawn positions and let themselves be slaughtered.

2) IMO their loot is too high (speaking in terms of monetary reward, when selling it later on), they dropped Studded Leather Armor +2, Bastard Sword +2 and Scimitar +2 Rashid's Talon, the commanders dropped a Scimitar +3 Water's Edge instead of a Scimitar +2 and an additional Helmet of Defense (which was, due to the description, improved by Taerom Fuiruim, what I had done before with one helm I had found). I'm not sure, whether this loot does belong to the Sandrah mod or is due to some interference with the combination of mods I happen to have installed.

3) Apart from the regular way to leave the island with the ship and wrecking on the coast, I found another way, with an unmarked (with respect to CTRL+4) transition zone on the island map (the one which looks like the second Cloakwood zone), which lets me transfer like a regular map transition, by opening the world map and letting me choose my destination map. Not sure, whether this is intended or not, or if it will have any consequences on the story or the quest if I leave using that way.

As a githyanki she should have 2* for large swords and nothing else, definitely nothing for ranged weapons.

I will correct this for the next version, along with the dual-class button that is enabled by Tobex.

Large swords are not available in BG2/BGT/BWP :) there are 2h-swords and long swords, bastard swords and short swords. As she's using a 2h sword like almost any githyanki I saw in the game so far, maybe that's where this race is proficient with.

I'm not far into the game, just started, but I already like it, although it's kinda overpowered in some aspects, as others already pointed out. Keep up the good work :new_thumbs:  and a big thank you for your dedication

I picked up Jen'lig at the Friendly Arm Inn and found her having BG1 proficencies, 3* in Large Swords, 2* in Small Swords and 2* in Bows. So when she levels up for the first time, the screen is not showing her having any proficencies at all, because those are unknown or unused in the engine used in BG2/BGT. As I haven't found any hint in the forum or readme files about this, I'm now wondering whether this is intentionally so, or whether it's a bug or some override from other mods, no one has triggered so far...

#581043 Out of memory errors in Strategems during BWS installation

Posted by waebbl on 19 September 2015 - 04:00 AM in Mega Mod Help

Hello all,

first I'd like to thank everyone for their great work and the progress a lot of the mods have made during the last couple of years.

During my last megamod installation I noticed Out of memory errors while stratagems was being installed. Although the setup said, it's cancelling the setup, it continued and eventually finished successfully. The error rose up a lot, but the setup always continued.

Now I was wondering whether those errors are significant. My machine has 16GB of RAM, I checked several times in taskmanager, the setup program needed between 800MB and 1GB of RAM, and in total, the system was using approximately 7GB, so lots of free memory available. At first, I was thinking about old DOS real-mode and extended memory handling problems, but I don't know, whether this is still applicable on a Win7 system, it's not my main system and mainly used for gaming. I now have some worries of whether the mod was completely installed or some of its functionality was simply skipped.

My setup was a recommended setup, with added SandrahNPC and SandrahRTF mods, and all of the required and optional (as far as I found them in the setup-sandrahnpc.debug file) mods. On an earlier setup, which contained only the recommended setup and Ascalons Questpack and Breagar added, but which pulled in (parts of?) strategems as well, this problem didn't happen. I also have enough free space on my hard drive (~50GB on the relevant partition), so this can't be the source either.

Here's my weidu.log:

And here's the part of setup-strategems.debug, where the error first occured:

Please see the attached file for the complete zipped setup-stratagems.debug file.

Any ideas why this is happening?

TIA
