#7588 Imoen Romance

Posted by Lord God Jinnai on 18 October 2002 - 07:58 PM in Imoen Relationship

The thread is here: http://www.shsforums...t=0;boardseen=1

Cool, but I think I'll wait for Gally's mod she's got a compelling story behind the romance mod.

Not to be rude to Quitch (as this is his forum), but what's gally's site/thread link? Just curious to see different approaches.

i don't suppose there's anything in bg1 to help us out either...

#7583 Why Imoen should be romanceable

Posted by Lord God Jinnai on 18 October 2002 - 07:12 PM in Imoen Relationship

Yes sir! *purrs* :)

Cuddling and snuggling and ear licking and neck biting is much better! :) And CHARNAME could tell Immy kitty that he loves her more than anything! Lots and lots of times :)

That'd be great! :)

Greater than lots of stuff, yes... :)

Ehi, that's very sweet Gospel! :)

:ribit:

Problem is here most people are trying to put modern, scientific-worldly based morals in a middle-aged, fantasy world.

Er, sorry SakuraNeko but what the hell are L337 M4G1XX ?

It's what the newest generation of mages and sorcerors are useing :)

Although some of the oldtimers are starting to scoff "'Elite Magics' my staff! I was casting spells of power when you young fools were still wetting yourselves and crying for mother!"

Hehe some of the lads and lassies are writing on their clothes with mage runes instead of letters. hehe I'm trying to get a "Fear the cute ones!" robe. :D

Ha! Your's would not be nearly as scarry as mine.

'Kender Wild-Mage at your service!'

#4113 Is the Mod ready yet?

ToB quite blatently had more RP in its little finger than all of SoA.

Yes, and they atleast went ahead and did atleast 1 of the things for HLC for the PC.

But I mean seriously, just going up against tougher and tougher people reminds me of DBZ. They needed to put in more variety of quests...they should've have read DM Options: High Level Campaigns.

Maybe I'm just too picky.

I doubt they HAVE enough time for the level of rp you are talking about :P That owuld take years. And BG2 is a RP game *shocked*

Essentially it should have been if they wanted to port AD&D to computer...not that they didn't handle the combat effectively, but IMO bioware spent too much time on combat...

For high-level campaigns, which ToB is, rping takes and non-dungeon crawl advantures take precidence in PnP AD&D and they should have done so here, but essentially bioware went once again with mainstream and made basically a fighting only game with just enough rp to make a bare bones attempt at rp.

And i would be willing to wate a few years for a descent game like that...i've done it before.

Like I said, I'm not gonna hold my breath for this mod.

I would. It's worth it. Just speaking as a beta tester I can say that this is going to be an awesome piece of work when it is done.

I never said it wasn't going to be good and I'll probably get it when its done, its just that essentially even with all the rp, this is still a dungeon crawl mod and i like something different for a change, espially at this high of a level.

Like I said, I'm not gonna hold my breath for this mod.

I prob wouldn't care that much if this mod got dropped...not that it doesn't look promising or whatnot. BTW a mod this far along prob won't be dropped like that, but you never know.

Ok, well personally i'm in no rush, although i'd like to see Quitch work on Imoen mod.

You might want to read my Return to Windspear Imoen work first, then you will be in a better position to decide whethere me writing Imoen dialogue is anything worth getting excited about.

Where is it?

Dialogue and to a lesser extent, AI. Lack of inputters is going to push us back too.

Ahh...i'd help, but i'm already modding for another game plus helping design yet another.

#970 Question Imoen

Do you ever get the feeling that someone else is controlling your every move and watching everything that happens?

Want some free nachos? :D

Hey, how do you and all the other girls keep your hair from messing up in all those battles? B)

I wonder how much inflation all this gold and treasure we've been bringing in will cause.
