Having played Valen now, I would like to throw in my two cents, and yes I would like to see her romanceable. She has some good dialogue with a lot of folks, BUT the PC, so some added talk with the PC which can include off-romance/use the vampire would be a plus I believe.

When would be the idea time? After the death of Bodhi when she?s lost her mistress, that would be a good time for an evil PC to step in and take over as her master/mistress. Should Valen change from evil to neutral/good, NO! Why? If you?re working for Bodhi and have Valen in your party, most likely your PC is evil, why would they change her? Evil people need/want love too. Is this really a romance type of mod I?m looking at, I?ll say no, not in your classic romance, its an evil PC working on binding a powerful fighter/thief to themselves. That can have some interesting dialogue I believe, since you have to make sure that you appear more powerful and deserving than Valen, plus with Valen being evil and a vampire, can you really be good (Not that you?ll want to) without losing Valen?

I would like to see something like this just to have more interaction between Valen and the PC, that?s my two cents.

ah yes, I can certainly imagine the response, well if you really want to say hi to the planets core for a while then I certainly can't stop you. It would be nice for the writer and maker of this very nice idea, not to mention your personal health in game to start thinking with your head insted of other componants. This goes for any of the other thinly veiled attempts that I have been seeing in another thread.

Authors note, yes I am new to posting on these boards, been lurking for a while though.

I /think/ he's saying we're/your going to hell if you write a incest script, and to stop thinking with what's between your/our legs, and use your/our head before you get hurt (guessing hell would hurt a bit?). And that he noticed that there's been onther attempts to talk about incest between Imoen and the PC in other threads.

I THINK that's what's he's saying, the post is very vague.

Just a little add in, I think one of the better more indepth showings of Imoen's character came at the very end of TOB, after everything ended and she talked about how much she was looking forward to traveling with the PC. That to me showed a closeness that had been missing from all the over conversations, and no matter what the PC romance was, she fully expected and wanted to travel with her half-brother/sister no matter what kind of relationship the PC was in.

Just my thoughts.

Sorry, I mean, that I believe that the Drow are so concerned with watching their backs and plotting, that I think any Drow would have no problem having a relationship with a family member (close or distance) to further their own power. Though Viconia seemed to really have feelings for her brother, or maybe just a rare Drow that really did care for a male and a sibbling.

I was wondering if any group reactions to anything that Imoen says is planned, or if the male PC starts flirting with her, will they comment on it?

I know it's not a romance mod, but thinking from what your saying, anything is possible.


Viconia, I don't see her having any problem with it, at times during her conversation about her brother, she showed that she deeply cared about him. (Plus I would not put anything pass a Drow)

Aerie on the other hand I would see having a problem with the PC flirting with his half-sister.

Newbie here and I have to frist say THANK YOU, I alway was disappointed that Imoen becare the male PC's sister since I liked her the best. Any way, here's my question that for Imoen that can go two ways and give you some meat to work with I think. (This is based on the picture we're all used to seeing of Imoen.)

-"You know Imoen, we grew up together, you never told me how you got that scar over your eye."

-*(CharName) stares at Imoen over the fire then shakes his head when she gives him a questioning look. "Just thinking back, everytime I see your scar... I think back to the time when I gave it to you."
