This mod is awesome - but where can I find the returning throwing hammer supposed to be sold in shops? I believe I have found all other special magic items added by this mod, but not that one.

Which hammer, Gethlun's Hammer +2 (the blue one)?  Where it is depends on which game you are playing, and even then which store it ends up in is randomized.  In my EET game it is in

The easiest way for you to find it may be to use NearInfinity and search for references to T-HAMM01.ITM.  With a bit more information about which game you are playing, I can give you a list of possible locations, or you can look in the TP2 yourself.  The code comments are helpful.

 

Thank you! I have since moved into SoD and BG2 though. I didn't actually know the stores were randomized, since all the other items were so close together I assumed they had set locations :)

Wow this behaviour is really wonky. I have been able to sleep safely for 50+ times during a test in bridge district.

 

Now I can't, and a voiceover in the original BG-narrator voice tells me "monsters have disturbed you from your rest" or somesuch - though it's just an Amnish Guard waking me. A line I don't think I've heard before.

^ Yeah I did so now. I can sleep safely in:

 

Docks

Bridge

Graveyard (though this is expected behaviour)

 

I cannot sleep in:

 

Government

Slums

City Gates

Promenade

 

Also: when I actually gathered the 20.000 gold (my game's price for casting license) and went to the Government District, I no longer had the option to buy. So I got rid of the money buy buying some stuff and throwing it away.

 

Anyway, this isn't a massive problem, but I do wonder what's causing the behaviour. I've installed those components before without many issues.

So I did some testing, and maybe I'm just the idiot here? The cowled problem is still there, but I can't rest in the Government District without getting awoken by guards.

 

I can however rest freely at the Docks, which, as I recall, I shouldn't be able to?

Good bet, but I'm afrad your last line there is gibberish to an ol' end user like myself.

 

I went to the guy in the Government District that you can pay to allow Magic, and something's up. While I can pay him the fee, I can also pick the line saying cowled have attacked me even though I already paid the fee.

But even if that explains the Cowled not showing up - it doesn't really explain why I can rest outside without being awoken by the guard, does it?

Today I noticed I can rest and cast spells within Athkatla without fear of guards waking or interrupting me. I know there's a component to do this, but I don't believe I have it installed. Anyone want to venture a guess what's up?

Hi @Roxanne, sorry for the late reply. For unrelated reasons I had to do a re-install. The same prompt came up, however, claiming the component to be redundant. I check if dw#spawns.mrk was in my BG2EE /override folder, and indeed it was. So apparantly something is taking care of it I guess? :)

Yes, but I'm saying that BWS skips this component during install, just like it did for enderandrew. Maybe I should have included the whole quote (from page 253): 

 

So I just tried an install of most everything available in BWS currently on the 2.5 beta. The following four failed:

Mod: Might and Guile
Component: Add Multiclass Kits
Component: The Feat System (for Warriors and Rogues, requires EE 2.0+, includes Revised Stalker and Shadowdancer, disables Scout kit)

Mod: Item Randomiser
Component: Prevent Watcher's Keep statues from disappearing (in case randomisation gave them something)

Mod: EET (Enhanced Edition Trilogy) Tweaks
Component: NPC voices

Mod: Sandrah Saga I - Sandrah Appears
Component: Sandrah EET additions

Of those, Might and Guile seems to conflct when installed with other mods adding kits. I will try to look through and see what the conflict is. The Item Randomizer component outright said some other mod apparently already provided that tweak. I'm not sure why NPC Voices failed in EET Tweaks and will have to look at the log file. The Sandrah failure I think I've seen before. If it thinks Might and Guile is installed, but it isn't really, that causes problems. I don't need Might and Guile. I'm just testing these literally for the sake of testing them. I'll try a new install in a bit.

 

You replied to the Sandrah and Might and Guile part - but I couldn't find an answer to the Randomiser-part. If another mod really does provide the tweak, I dunno which one it'd be :)

Component: Prevent Watcher's Keep statues from disappearing (in case randomisation gave them something)
 

 

Because I am getting the same error. Could just skip it safely probably and just enter Watcher's Keep at late levels, but BWS insists I include it in Randomiser-installs, so perhaps it's more important than that?
