Thanks Miloch,
Manual installation or Automatic?
The reason why I ask is because when I was downloading the mods for BWS, I had to hunt a few of them down (or couldn't locate a few of them.) Would this matter if I did a custom install, and followed the manual installation order to avoid download hiccups. I would read the read me to ensure mod compatibility before selecting additional mods to install.
or
If I did a manual installation that followed the mod order that is listed on BWP-links (http://kerzenburg.ba....eu/bwpmods.php) less mods I don't want - would this work? eg. only a few NPC's.
Sorry for all these questions, and I very much appreciate your patience.
The reason I asked is because I was just reading the post: http://www.shsforums...newbies-and-up/ and was intrigued with the manual process.
Basically, I am worried that when I am doing an automatic install, that I have problems with not getting the recommended downloads, and having the same problem I was trying to avoid. (program freezing, or crash - to - desktop).
Thanks.

Hi Miloch,
Thanks for getting back to me. No I am not stuck with this game, so I will uninstall, and do a clean re-install of BG1 & BG2.
Trying to be pro-active, I have been looking around the forum, and I have seen a few comments about various mods apparently causing problems.
Such as "Level 1 NPC" & "Ashes of Embers" - I can't think of any others.
Do you have any suggestions of mods that sometimes result in game playing problems - that you would recommend I avoid at this point in time?
Thanks for you help.

Hey Everyone,
Is there anything else that you need to see - to see if this is fixable?
Should I just re-do all of this and see what happens?

Here is the Baldur err log file. I only just turned on the debug mode today before, so I hope it helps.

Hi Imp,
I used the following process for installing:
http://tamrielfoundr...e-experience/
On Step 5: I installed all mods, starting with non-Weidu, and then Weidu.
When installing the mods I installed the AI, and spell tweaks at the end.
As far as the process of installing is concerned, everything else as far as installing mods are concerned remained the same.
I didn't install the Creature fixer. I just found out about this tool. Will this tool help solve my problem?
I searched the forum and found the Creature fixer file, and will download it. How do you use it?
Can I un-generalized biff my files, then use this? I found a link on the forum that said biffing files may make the program run faster, but may cause problems with debuging? (Here: http://www.shsforums...r-the-megamods/)
I will up date this post with the Weidu.log shortly, and post it here. (Once I leave work I will do so)
Thank you Imp for your help so far.
Edit: Un-installed Generalized Biff Mod, cleared out the temp and cache file folders, and then ran the creature Fix. Test ran the game with same error.
Additional comment: The loading Screens were almost 100% complete before crash to desk top.
Edit 2: Weidu.Log attached.
Any idea on what's causing this?.

Hi Everyone,
I am new here to the forum. I have been a BG fan for over a decade. Just recently I decided to revised BG 1 & 2 including the expansions, but alas I have run into problems playing the game.
I am posting in this thread, as I have a virtually identical problem as veccou.
If this is posted in the wrong section please let me know, and I will move it.
The only difference between "Veccou" and myself, is that I set up my mega install in a BG Trilogy format.
I have tried to install everything in the proper order, and to only use the most current mod versions available.
But Before I put the cart before the horse, here are more specifics.
My System: Windows 7 (64 - bit), 32 GB Ram, 3.2 ghz itel processor.
1. I used GOG online downloads of BG 1 & Bg 2 for the game install.
2. I installed the BG 1 & BG 2 file to a Games directory.
3. I loosely followed a BG Trilogy Mega install that I found on the net.
4. Mods were installed in order as best as possible. (Non-weidu first, then Weidu mods)
No errors were noticed, but obviously there was.
5. Since it was a large install, I Biffed everything. I realize that I did not back up anything which will likely be a problem.
So here is my problem that I hope to resolve...
I am having problems accessing the Friendly Arm Inn, when I try to access the inn, it crashes to the desk top.
The message I get is the following in a pop up window:
Baldur's Gate II - Shadows of Amn - Thorne of Bhall
"An Assertion Failed in ObjCreature.cpp at line number 12249"
The TobEx Console says the following:
"TobEx: Throne of Bhall Extender build 0.26.3.5 <Mon 13 Oct 2014 19:51:53>
ASSERTION FAILED! Return Address: 0x8BAAD4 File: OjbCreature.cpp Line: 12249 Expression: False Message: <Null>"
Having said this, what information, and what tools should I use to provide everyone in hopes of solving this problem.
How can I provide these Weidu logs that I see?
Thanks in advance for your input
