One of the best mods out there. But my problem right now is the following. I'm constantly thinking about switching from the classic games to the enhanced edition. There are some few mods of mine that don't work on enhanced edition and this mod is one of them. At the same time I know that some features like the loot bar can also be found in the enhanced edition. But what about the other components? Which can also be found in the enhanced edition?

Hey Leonardo,
just wanted to inform you about a potential problem with Vlad’s Compilation v2.1. As you know it includes baldurdash. Unfortunately it looks like it also includes a lot of stuff from Neverending Journey in it's main component MY COMPILATION. I myself reverted to using the last version of baldurdash. Just wanted to let you know that there might be a problem you may want to investigate.
#612005 1pp for people who like BG2 avatars/paperdolls
Posted by Charriu on 29 November 2021 - 12:59 PM in 1PP
Really appreciate what you are doing with the mod. Unfortunately I'm one of those guys, who like the BG2 paperdoll/avatar look better. Still I do like some components from 1pp like
Extended palette entries
Thieves Galore
Restored flame sword animations
Colourable Quarterstaves
Wizard Staves
Improved projectile effects
Unfortunately for most of them you need the core change for the paperdolls. So I'm wondering if there is any possibility to get those working with the BG2 paperdolls/avatars or if there are any alternative mods that do similar things.
Thanks in advance.
#611995 Crash with base mod in certain areas
Posted by Charriu on 21 November 2021 - 11:29 AM in Infinity Animations
I did start a new game. In fact after testing it in my mega mod I made a fresh install of BG2 and only installed Infinity Animation.
I may feel stupid asking this. But am I right to assume that the components "Infinity Animations" and "Humanoid Animation Fixes" can be installed without having any additional IA Content packages downloaded and provided?
Edit #1: Well I am stupid. I did another test this time with all the IA Content in play and now it did not crash. But now I am wondering which IA Content is really mandatory for these components.
Edit #2: And I think I got it. Apparently I also needed the IA_Base_Anims.rar. Maybe it should be mentioned in the readme that you need that package for 0. Infinity Animations
#611990 Crash with base mod in certain areas
Posted by Charriu on 20 November 2021 - 10:21 AM in Infinity Animations
Hi
I noticed that my game was crashing as soon as I entered the following areas:
AR0202 Unseeing Eye Area
AR0802 Crypt for with the Book of Kaza, meeting the first mummys behind the invisible door
AR1404 Temple ruins
AR1202 In the room with the cook troll and in the tunnel behind the vampires
Since I was using multiple mods I tested them separately on a fresh install of BG2 and found that these crashes are caused by Infinity Animations. What I did is just starting up a game and using MoveToArea to move to the specific areas.
I'm on Win7 with the latest GoG version (setup_baldurs_gate2_2.0.0.12). I downloaded Infinity Animations Core WeiDU beta 5 and only installed these components on a fresh install of BG2:
Infinity Animations
Humanoid Animation Fixes
