Thank you for that Jastey, it did resolve  the issue.  I was hesitant to apply the same fix that you told me to reply last time because of the other seemingly repeating lines on the dialogue screen after installing the Stutter Debug tool, I did not know if those were indeed errors that needed tending to or not, so I thought it best to oseek out experts who would know.  I figured better to play it safe, I know my capabilities and appreciate the heck out of you guys and girls that know this stuff.

 

So on that, the other things in the dialogue screen shots, were those just informational? 

I only ask to learn.

 

I remembered that you had helped me resolve the issue last time, first thing I did was find my post about it and read what you had posted.

 

Thank you yet again, I am in your debt.   I appreciate everyone who chimed in to help out on this.

Just a guess to be honest.  I noticed that the NPCs that I recruited would stop moving while walking for no reason.  I remember that is what what happening on my last install and the problem was noticed by using the StutterDebug tool so I thought ( possibly incorrectly ) that this looks familiar, so I installed the tool and started collecting information like I did last time.

 

If I am incorrect in  my assumption could someone set me straight?

Due to a recent lightning strike, I lost my PC and had to get a new one and reinstall BGEE, the series, installed as a trilogy.  There are many mods installed.  I had this problem previously and Jastey was able to help me resolve it.  I have installed the stutter debug tool and searched the .BCS files for the entries listed in the screen shots, I have the entries saved in files, I will upload them.  
 
I hope someone will be able to help me out.

I have no issues starting over, when things went south I didn't progress with the game.  Any changes or modifications that is recommended I would love to hear.
I did not know that I had old forum software, I will make sure that I have the most recent to move forward.

Soo once I get the most recent EET setup, I need to install that first and them make the changes you stated, correct?  Do I need to move all of IWDification's selections or just the non spell components before aTweaks?

Something happened to my BGEE install, it became unplayable.  I started a new installation, from Beamdog, and when I try to finish the installation with EET to make it a trilogy  it fails with the following error....

Jastey, a huge thank you!!  the changes you told me make have made the game seem completely normal.  No weird walking, no one stops in mid combat.  I truly appreciate your time and work to help me out.  Thank  you very much, I owe you a drink as you have helped me out a jam on more than one occasion.  thank you!

 

As a side note, I had mentioned that Rejiek was unkillable.  That did not stop the progression of that quest nor the subsequent quest in Trademeet, I was able to complete both, which was nice.

Do I need to make an entry in the gtimes.ids?

 

To clarify about Nalia, I kicked her out of the party and then continued to play with m character and 3 mod npcs.  The stutter debug was still installed, I had not received your post as of that time.  Without her in the party, the running block lines would trigger one time for which ever character  was performing something.  With her int he party I got what you saw in the screen shots where it was looping.  

 

I have uninstalled the stutter debug and verified the baldur.bcs changes.  

 

Soo far this has resolved the traveling issue that I was having ( some npcs would stop moving before hitting the green target ) and I am hoping that it might resolve the stopping infight issue. I will update after a battle.

Quick question about the baldur.bcs file, I searched for that string, RealSetGlobalTimer("I#BanterTimer","GLOBAL",0), and it found 6 hits.  Does that sound about right?

Yes, this is for the install the the WeiDu.log came from.  That is most bizarre, the iepbanters is not listed in the WeiDu file.  

I can do that, search and replace the Global entries like you said.  I am most grateful that you have a solution at all.  I was worried I might have to start from scratch.

 

I did notice one oddity, I had to boot Nalia out after clearing the Keep, when she was in the group the cutscene would trigger and then freeze.  I kicked her out and the running block entries went away.  Is this an issue with the original npc characters only?

Also which gtimes.ids file?  I did a search in the BGII folder and the search returned 14 files with that name in different folders.

Sure enough, EE Keeper was the culprit.  I quit that program and the stutter program successfully installed.  Thank you for that, never thought of EE Keeper being the culprit.

Now onto trying the game with the stutter debug tool.

 

What, if anything, should I notice with the stutter debug tool installed?

The game was not running, I quit the game before installing.  I do not have antivirus or security software on this machine.  I did/ do have EE Keeper open, would that cause the locking of files?

I am hoping that someone might be able to shed some light as to why and how I can resolve some weird things going on in my current game.  I have a trilogy and I am currently in SOA.  I have for companions Nalia, Khalid, Gavin, and Gahesh. I am hopeful that the issues are caused by a conflict of mods.  I am not very far into the game but here are the things that I have noticed.

 

Movement issues, when the group is selected and I move them to a spot on the map 1 usually stops before the marker, usually a good bit back from the rest of the party.

 

Fighting, randomly anyone of the party will stop fighting during the fight.  I can get them to start fighting again, but they stop again.

 

Saving, every time I try to save it tells me that you cannot save in dialogue mode.  but I am not in dialogue mode.  Usually after I  hit the quick save button 3 - 5 times it will save the game.

 

Unkillable, so far I have run into 2 people that are not killable.  Sion, in the temple district, and Rejiek.  I have hit control-Y many times to verify this and they indeed appear immortal.

 

I thank you inn advance for reading/ helping me, I really appreciate.  Most of the things I can work around, but the immortal ones cause issues with other quests and I am not sure what other immortals there might be.   I am including the WeiDu log as well.
