#537501 Comments on BGEE & BG2EE News

I will admit that I am trying very hard not to squee constantly like a fangirl. I am afraid at some level they may screw it up, whatever they're doing, but the fact that they're even reviving the game in some way, shape or form means I will probably buy it straight off the shelves anyway.

That said, I really do echo the hopes here of everyone that they will be compatible with mods/include some of the fantastic content that has been developed over the years. Otherwise they're really hobbling themselves.

Hi Celticrose, it's amazing to see you back and updating again. :D Of course real life always comes first, and after a long break it's natural to need time to ease back into writing.

I liked your little snapshot promising what's to come, you had me quivering in annoyance by the end. I'm sure Anariel and the others can deal with him, but I still can't wait to see how. ^_^

So yes, a big welcome back, and thanks for continuing with this one. I've always enjoyed it.

Hi CelticRose. Great to see another chapter up, sorry it took me so long to comment!

What can I say? It was amazing to see Ruach get his comeuppance from everyone. Really enjoyed that part. Not to mention, the fate you consigned him to, as well as the final image you left us with was exquisite.

Regarding your author's notes, it sounds like you've had an amazingly busy time recently and I think everyone understands that real life comes first. I, for one, am just really glad this story is still alive. Thanks, best of luck with real life, and I look forward to the next chapter, whenever it may be. :)

Sorry it took me a while to catch up with what you've posted! Really enjoyed the soft interlude and how nervous and hesitant and eager your Shepard was. I think you portrayed it beautifully in a short amount of time.

I did notice one or two typos, eg.

“Oh, Speard, you’re here already. I’ll let you in, hold on."

But they were pretty minor, and I think I'm just nitpicking here. :)

I'm glad to see a return of your Zoe, especially with the release of Mass Effect 3 just over the horizon. You really are what made me engage with the Mass Effect universe, and as always I love seeing your take on it. Looking forwards to more when you have the time!

Heh, I'm playing SW;tOR myself at the moment, and I know with the Trooper story it is especially tempting to create Shepard. ^_^

*blinks* I am too, actually. I wonder how on earth that happened. If you need a hand helping to edit those, give me a yell. Or a PM rather. :)

No need to apologise. Life has its times, and so does life online. I know I and many others are looking forwards to your next update. ^_^

Hi Icedragon, I'd like to start off by saying welcome to Scribbles! :) It's good to see some new writing around here. :D

I'll admit, I've neither played Darian nor "A Dance with Rogues", but you managed to convey the feeling, background and characters in each quite smoothly. "It's About Time" felt a little jarring as a one-shot, however, simply because the emotional impact of it wasn't as self-contained as "Homecoming" and "Not in a Partying Mood". But I enjoyed all of them, and I'm looking forward to more if the writing bug bites again. :)

Just read all your updates in one shot. I liked what you focused on - the team again and how frustrated Zoe is by everything she's having to face. And all the stupidity on top of that. And, I have to say - love the title, and I can't wait to see how this Shepard changes her galaxy.

My gosh, this looks absolutely incredible. I literally got shivers down my back watching it brought to life that way. Thanks for such amazing work - I'm another who has been lurking in the background watching this project like a hawk. Amazing work and I can't wait to play it!
