Guidelines

Essential Guidelines
Spellhold Studios is a community dedicated to modding different games within the CRPG genre. Seeing as strong opinions and heated discussions sometimes arise, Spellhold Studios has two constitutional rules:

- Treat everyone with respect, moderators and members alike.
- Use your common sense when conversing with other people.

Spellhold Studios strives to be a very tolerant community, and we wish to maintain that spirit throughout the forums.

The Spellhold Studios Guidelines protects all posters on the forums: visiting guests, members and staff.

By posting on this board, you accept these rules of conduct.

Posting
Posts containing abusive, flaming, trolling, spamming, harassing, threatening, vulgar, defamatory or hateful content are forbidden and will be dealt with by the staff.

Stalking and invasiveness of a person's privacy are proscribed.

Try to keep on topic; please make sure that your post is contributing to the discussion.

Impersonating Other Users
You may not impersonate another forum member or a staff-member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users.

Accessing, using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited.

A member may not have more than one account at any given time.

Language
Try not to use derogatory language, as it may be offensive to other members of this board.

Remember that many people here are not native English speakers, so please use proper writing (paragraphing, punctuation and capitalisation) where appropriate.

Moderation
The Moderators, Global Moderators and Administrators of this board reserve the right to delete, edit, move or close any post or topic if need be, as they are obliged to uphold the guidelines.

A locked topic may not be brought up again under the same circumstances, and a post edited by the staff may not be re-edited.

The moderators are here for your convenience, so if you feel mistreated or misjudged, you are encouraged to contact any staff-member, or the specific staff-member if the conflict is with a moderator. A failed resolution of the issue can be brought up with an Administrator.

Bans
Everybody is welcome at Spellhold Studios, but exceptional cases may result in a ban if a continuing show of reproachful behaviour is displayed, despite several warnings. Bans may be temporary or permanent.

Illegal activities
Spellhold Studios will not allow opinions or acts against human rights or which glorifies terrorism, racism, violence or other criminal activities.

Pornography and other sexually oriented material are expressly unwanted, and will be censored.

Spellhold Studios strongly urges our visitors not to post anything in violation of the Copyright- or Trademark-laws; as such activity is prohibited throughout the community.

Contact
You can always reach any specific member of the staff by sending a Personal Message (PM). A list of the staff may be found here.
