loads so that the game is longer and so that you don't always have to go to plot locations
I apparently have a high level of empathy, combined with a low level of sympathy... weird

Unfortunately, loads of planets would doubtlessly mean less time spent on each individual planet.

Aye. Probably the same amount as in the last two games is the best.

6 I think is a good number. You get to spend some time on each planet without rushing through too much.

of course but when you have quantity, quality's usually lacking and with K2's record of incompletion, I wouldn't bet on getting a lengthy game with great content.

I voted for 8, because I think that by adding a few hours of gameplay, the quality won't drop, you'll be able to spend just as much time on the planets as in the other games, yet there will be more to explore.

As many as possible. One of my main gropes with kotor is that the story line is far too linear.
Forward he cried from the rear
And the front rank died
And the general sat and the lines on the map
Moved from side to side.

Exactly. I say a maximum of 8 planets would be enough.

It depends on the "size" of each planet. I wouldn't mind exploring each planet a bit more.

Good point. The fact that each "planet" in kotor1-2 was no more than a village-sized city (or spaceport) made me laugh at the first sight. While in BG2, IWD, NWN etc. it was completely OK to have cities where the player could explore and find some adventure, it looks pretty weird in the kotor games, where the very same method is being used... :)

Yeah. Actually even one planet would be enough if it was filled with areas to visit. Your ship could be used for small trips to other planets, but a main area would be nice.

I don't care actually, I just want the gaming hours to reach above 24.

As Grunker said - I think it was rather funny that we were talking "planets" while all that we could visit were a few settlements...

Just think of it this way, the more planets we get, the longer and harder the game can( and should ) be.

We Need as many planets as they dish out to us! for example, i think Kamino, alderon, and bespin would make some pretty pimped out new planets, and bring us to Corosaunt already, i mean common WE WANT TO VISIT THE JEDI TEMPLE ON COROSAUNT!!!!!!!

Or, as people have mentioned before, the less developed each planet will be. An entire game could be set in a smallish region of one planet. Of course, since it's star wars we want space travel, but I would personally love to see less planets that each contain more than just one small city or spaceport.
