Ajoc mod v1.5 (the only difference between 1.5 and 1.6 is the Spanish translation, right?) bug

After leaving the city with Loron and killing the creatures/bandits that appear, speaking to Loron leads to his "Ah, finally some adventurers!" line, leading to him to telling you to meet him in by the City Gates.

When you travel back there (which involves first travelling to another area, since it seems to think you're stil in the City Gates area), there are two of him! Both do their normal "Good to see you made it line", and you proceed to exit the city as before.

Repeat ad nasium, until the entire City Gates area is filled with Lorons :D.

P.S. I have numerous other mods installed, but I don't see why any of them should interfere with this.

Ooo! That's a weird one. I can't say I've had that one before. He's only supposed to tell you to meet him at the city gates when you first take the quest. IIRC, once in the wilderness he tells you to come back to talk to him after looting the corpses. (Although it's phrased "when you're ready" we all know why the party isn't ready yet. heheheh) I think you're leaving the area instead and somehow re-initiating the gates encounter. Perhaps something isn't being set right on your install. I'll check the mod when I get my laptop back, just in case.

Are the creatures you fight supposed to be specific to your journey with Loron? Only the first time I was ambushed, it was the bandits attacking Rylock (the Harper guy).

Ah, that might be it. A battle of random encouters. Yes, Loron has his own "random" encounter as you leave the gates. I'd say that's the conflict there.

I have had exactly the same problem... I can make sure the kids know not to do the Loron quest before the Rylock encounter, but now that it has happened, is there any way of getting the Loron quest back on track? :(

Hi mates
Well, i dont know if the quest is over or not... i was going with Loron in City Gates and after 1 encounter, finally "we arrive to village", he said that. In that moment, cowled wizards come in and take him :crying: :crying:
So, is that all? I dont want miss any part, maybe is a time quest (in 2 days i need to rescue him... i will need to talk with someone... etc)
Any support is welcome,
Regards,

I have been having problems with this. The same thing with multiple Lorons at the city gates. I have done the Rylock random encounter already though (the one where you have to take him to the Harpers)

Anyone have any insight?

Which version of AjocMod are you using? Can you post your WeiDU.log?

Greetings Leomar

No, your WeiDU.log shows me that you use:
~SETUP-AJOCMOD.TP2~ #0 #0 // AjocMod Weidu: v1.6.2 :P

But I asked, because the mod gots an update in the past and normally this bug should not happen with the newer version.

v1.6.3
- Fixed Loron's Encounter with Renfeld
- Deleted corrupted ar0042.are and added AG0042.are for compatibility
- Moved tisunpack.exe into the folder are
- Corrected Uninstaller.bat
- Added README-command
- Updated to WeiDU v211
