I think ROMAN's is the best out of the bunch, more correct head ratio than the rest. Pandæmonium's source image wouldn't be bad but it still needs significant baldurization.

- Sorry for thread necromancy, but I was just recently playing BG2 and Fade didn't make it into my party primarily because her base portrait just isn't that good (bad head ratio etc.)

Interesting that this topic should pop back up.
I recently stumbled across this:

Even has the damn ears.
I keep meaning to chop it up and stick it in my portraits folder but I never got around to it. While it's not perfectly 'Baldurised' (and lacks Fade's tattoos) it'd make a reasonable portrait of her, I think.

A pity the tail isn't present. (Nooooo :crying:  ) Err... please don't mind my out-loud-thoughts. :)

Nice find Pandæmonium.

It is done. The slant of her head makes it so the portrait only really shows one ear, but it still came out alright.

If you're using the whole portrait, I'd seriously tone down the implants that picture has, but the rest of it certainly does fit, minus the tail's absence.

I tried to keep it to only include the sternum up. Also the slant of her head in the pic keeps the armor on her right from showing up, and you even get to see the tattoos on her left arm.

By implants I meant her chest region, which is on the excessive side.

This is what caused me to give up on it the first time, it was bugging me for some reason. This is a nice little set of portraits though, certainly better than my half-arsed 30-second attempt.

Interesting that there are so many d/ls of only the large version. Anyway I guess I can give a shot at 15 or 30 degree rotation and seeing if I can get a better image.

Given the usual number of active members in this particular subforum I wouldn't be disappointed with 30+ downloads.
I'm sure plenty of people are being sticky-beaks too. They want to take a look, regardless of whether or not they'll use it, or even have the mod installed.

I recently stumbled across this:

Oooh...weee!

Coincidentally I'm about to start a game with Fade in a party that will include Vilcakis's Lion warrior and Choo Choo's new Guardflayer kit. Those new Fade portraits are just what I want. As for the big picture, I believe it's about to find a new home on my desktop. Thanks!

I don't suppose Fade can take that automatic into the game. What is it, a Glock?
I did battle with monsters, and they became me, and when I gazed into the abyss, the abyss looked away shyly.
See, it helps not to believe all the stuff that philosophers spout.

Well, I'm sure there's a more elegant way of doing it, but whenever I want to change an NPC portrait I just open my save up in ShadowKeeper and change it manually.

I imagine there's something one can do to the files before installation which will automaticaly associate her with any portrait you like. What that thing is I don't really know.

I personally like her original - it's pretty and fits Fade's appearance perfectly (Miss E drew it). I do, however, usually resize the small portrait so it fits with the others (ie, head & shoulders rather than her face only).

The alternate posted isn't bad, but I'm used to Fade having red eyes and black tattoos on her face, which the alt doesn't have unless someone edits it.
