 to you all and welcome to "Hoppy's New Game With Weidu". Hope this will be a good one.

So far I am in Chapter 4 and all Dreams, cuts and movies have played without significant delay. Thalantyr dialogs Mysterious Vial and item upgrade are good. Bonehill Part one is concluded.

Lure of the Sirines' call is complete. Most sword coast and middle areas have been explored until my awesome CTD to AR9200 (Shipwreck Coast). Tried extracting all files of area (tis, mos, bmp(3), are) and nothing responds. Tried CLUA every creature in that area and none cause a crash. Also in my override is a TMP file (AR9200.TMP) and I have no idea what that is. Anyway I will keep working on it to see. I can't even CLUA there to save my life so I may be screwed.

Party members= Hero, Edwin, Dyna, Minsc, Kivan, and Xan.

I had no errors at install but maybe something got biffed that the game can't find.

That was quick. Did you do a manual install?

I was wondering about the "SPItems" mod you installed. The readme says it replaces items all over, but then again its a weidu mod so it shouldn't, right?

The shipwreck coast is the one with all the sirens and the healer guy right? I'll check it out, but map names of areas have changed on my install so will check all the coastal areas.

Can you clua in CreateCreature"J#Indi01, or 03, or 04" without any problems? My install is almost identical (minus a few things), and that Indira npc had messed up strings.

At any rate, you made it through another install!

I did a manual last weekend. Two actually, one with NeJ2 and the new version of TS with Improved Anvil, just so if I get tired of one, I can try another instead of installing from square 1. I waited to post weidu and play through without looking for bugs and decided to close the other thread, or leave it for whatever reason.

I will try Indira as I have not been east yet (Firewine or Ulcaster) as I will get Garrick for his Ulcaster quest. I was going to do Kivan Shoal thing then get Coran and do his quest. Then have those two and Xan do there trio quest.

Yep, AR9200 is the other Sirines, Mad Arcand, Shoal and the Surgeon so I have no idea what the hell is happening. I can't even travel solo to that destination. I get an error with ambients in DLTCEP for that area so I may try to reconstruct it.

Hey maximus2001,
All the Indira(s) come up with CLUA . Are you still having problems with yours and that Firewine @#&%?

Ugh, what a mess I found in AR9200 using DLTCEP. All of the Ambients are gone or useless and it doesn't like those spawn things but that may be seperate and not important. Here is a copy of the error log.

Can anyone upload an AR9200.ARE file so I can copy the correct ambients? Pretty Pleeeeease?

Nevermind I fixed it! Holy sheet that was hard. Thanks the gods I had a backup folder with mods ending after BGT install to use for a backup TIS cause the other area was fauckered up.

As they say, or as I say, GAME ON!!!

P.S. Thanks Chevalier for the spot!

Once I fixed the area, the load screen stopped and froze. For some reason it was not finding or using the TIS I had in override. A substitute from the backup saved my game. I don't know if I would remember how to do it if I had to do it again.

Hahahaha! I was just thinking about that! After I beat the bandit camp I was going to pick up Jaheira and combine hers and Coran's stuff. I wonder what may happen....Also I want to see if my Firewine is going to go bonkers, too. One CTD was enough and that was hard as hell to restore :crying:

What were some of the other stutters again? I was good in Nashkel and not slow there.

Jaheira's Shadow Druid quest brought to us by BG1 NPC Project combined with Coran's Wyvern hunt yielded no stutter or slowdown, either in that map area or wyvern cave. Took a break to change NPC's and sell some gear. I have yet to see a slowdown but I am still early and I did not install bottomless bags of holding. I am keeping my fingers crossed as I pursue DS and NT of the Sword Coast mod quests and hope I can do them right.

New business:

Weird things in DsotSC areas. When I go to attack ghouls the game pauses for a second, like it will CTD or stutter, then it is fine. Same effects almost in Castle Daerthmac with the wraiths. They cast mislead and it feels like they are auto-pausing. Any thoughts or maybe disabling some effects?

Also are the items with bonuses vs. undead supposed to do self-inflicting damage? The descriptions seem that they have some odd powers as well. Mace of Disruption (the one blessed by Elm and priest), Skull Splitter axe and even Cuchoineach's sword do the same when equipped.

I don't know if it is intended with those items specifically.

Thanks!

Bueno Bueno!! Thanks to the members/guests posting in this thread
http://www.shsforums...showtopic=32885

Above crash for AR9200 (Shipwreck Coast) and AR8100 (BG Docks) are solved by deleting those area files from the override. No further substitutions needed. I too, have unique Artifacts installed.

Good to know in case other crashes come up to look into this.

I looked at both areas in the override and they both had the same errors. Ambients were cleaned out or useless and said ring23 or something to that effect.

The weirdest one I have seen is Montaron will not stop initiating my PID's from BG1NPC project. Killing him does no good and he moves when he is dead. Seperating from Xzar does no good.

Strangely, kicking Xan out solves it for good. Maybe it should be a banter between them that got messed. Probably not a mod bug, but gameplay related. I doubt I would see it again in another runthrough.

Then again....what the hell do I know?

cmorgan! Wassaaaa! Kudos for the tip. I looked at G3 for something similar but since it was BGT I figure I would mention here at SHS.

Global("X#AjantisRomanceActive","GLOBAL",2) was the bit. I am playing a (F) multi Fighter-Mage-Thief and romancing Ajantis for something different.

I will probably not reinstall v.16 right away so I will just keep tabs with forums here and at G3 for anything that comes up. After a few weeks I will probably have the desire to install everything for a whole day and a half.

It seems that with the AR9200 crash, using the area in the UA backup folders worked perfectly. However there was not one for AR8100 (docks of BG) so I used a backup from when BGT was installed. Or use the one that Chevalier posted here as well.

This happened for me too all the time. I thought it was the SCS AI for undead with their buffing spells. I mention it now because thankfully it hasn't happened since then, and have been through Ntotsc, Totsc, all BG, and now Drizzt saga without any more buffing problems. Except Cuchoineach going agghh with every new area.

His sword does self inflicting damage. Needs to be changed says erebusant. I deleted the effect from the item that was causing it. "e" said the +undead stuff is in the melee anyway.
