Thanks mm75! No more problems so maybe after switching out some items it cleared up for me. No problems getting to Salamander Island this time! Your advice worked great and now the rest will make sense. No problems with Fabio either if he leaves on his own for Bonehill part 1 and comes back for Part 2. I was kicking him out before. Thanks for keeping me posted in those forums.
"Hoppy" to be of help, ehehehehe ;-) You're always welcome mate!

If it doesn't work, what are the circumstances? NPC's, when (chapter, on creation) or other. If I know of anything wrong with it, I will see if I can get it a weidu type install so that it may properly patch everything.

CTD in Druid Grove if CoM encounters and SCSII (v.5) are installed together. Fix is in the thread, pretty simple.

Step 1) Open your game file (chitin.key) with Near Infinity and open the CRE list.
Step 2) Look for these creature files and export a copy to some where safe (not override):
a)YETI1.CRE
b)YETI2.CRE
c)YETI3.CRE
d)CBSSYETI.CRE
Step 3)Find the particular CRE file and open it. Click the EDIT tab and scroll down in the edit section to the line ANIMATION ID. It will say IC_LICH and some numbers. Double click on that line and you will get a scrolled list of other animations in the ANIMATE.IDS. Look for IC_SNOW_TROLL and select it (click) and then update value. Save or if you move to another file, NI will ask to save. These new files will go to the override folder. Do this for a), b),c),d)
>>>>At this point your yeti and abonimable snowmen will look like snow trolls.
Step 4) Change the snow troll animation with the BAMS that were previously used by RoT and Soubar, but had the same assigning as the driders. I have renamed the BAMS to coordinate with the new animation ID so just unzip the RAR and move contents of the file (just BAM) into your BGII-SoA\override folder. The rest was handled by the animation renaming that we already did.
*Note- this is just a hot fix but it really bugged me. Hope someone else will enjoy. I tested it in my game and the only reason I can't upload my CRE files is because they will have funny (names) in your games due to differing dialog.tlk files.
P.S. no sounds yet
UPDATE: Instead one may want to try replacing the BAMs in the folder RoTerror\anim\yeti in the SoA\override folder as that may solve that issue a little easier. I thought that it was more complex with BP and it wasn't. BP installs creatures that are unused that copy the yeti bams to driders. Try the updated fix and see if that works for the yeti/drider and it is less editing.
EDIT:
Just extract this file to override

I thought this was due to a typo in BP TP2? Someone in BiG World thread fingered it, and we got this covered for the next release. (Admittedly, the typo correction hasn't been tested yet.)Here is one for all of you boys and girls that have SOS, RoT and Check the Bodies installed and hate seeing your Yeti's look like Driders.

Was that correction in the TP2 included in the new one in the workroom for 178? I haven't tested that one yet but will have some more time on the weekend if it will be ready to test with what we have have.
EDIT: OK I see the animate.ids talk in BWP and we used the faulty animate.ids files from the fixpacks (BWP). Everything is cheeky in my install without BP. Once that comes along for the ride, it chunks those two animations all in IC_LICH. However, I can't find info on what the typo was or if it is commented out

With the respect of that, any animation-related bugs in anybody's game are being caused by some different mods (BP in a case of YETI).

Ok, I found the link in the BP 178a TP2 with your name by it
http://www.shsforums...opic=27961&st=9
OK. I checked the animate and anisnd sections for the typos and there are no typos in those parts in the TP2 that I installed with or the modified TP2 that is in the Big World Fixpack folder (for 5.1 which I used and erased C6Bodhi). Something else must go wrong because my creatures (yeti/drider) were hosed. I searched through the TP2 and matched the case so there were no capital X's.
I think that the bigger problem is that the Yetis (all 4) are fine with the animation IC_LICH.
However, BPv177 copies CRE's BPDRIF01,BPDRIF02,BPDRIFM1 which all use IC_LICH according to their CRE files.
COPY ~BPv177/CRE/BPDRIF01.CRE~ ~override/BPDRIF01.CRE~ SAY NAME1 @357 SAY NAME2 @357 COPY ~BPv177/CRE/BPDRIF02.CRE~ ~override/BPDRIF02.CRE~ SAY NAME1 @357 SAY NAME2 @357 COPY ~BPv177/CRE/BPDRIFM1.CRE~ ~override/BPDRIFM1.CRE~ SAY NAME1 @358 SAY NAME2 @358
What happens is that BP copies the CRE's with the exact same bams for MLICxxx.BAM as RoT creatures. Same BAM identifications for two different CRE files. That is why we still have the issue I am pretty positive. There are a few of the RoT yeti BAMs that don't get copied by BP's. That is why it flashes back and forth between the two creatures.
I will try to install BP178a TP2 on my un-BP game and see if commenting out the above will further resolve this. I don't want to get rid of the creatures, I just hate funky animations. I want to follow through with my original goal to help fix that problem.
@Leomar or Leonardo
Please try commenting out that block above with the BP177 TP2 that you have when installing as that may be the permanent fix for v177 at least. Others that have everything installed already with BP can use the edit steps for now.
Addendum:
I can't even find those 3 creatures in the game by searching ARE or BCS so they might not even be needed

So we can:
1) code the check in the TP2 for BP version TP2 - how to do that??
2) remove those creatures in BP (3-4) entirely, via TP2, that use the animation IC_LICH, as I could not find where they are in game. They are filed but not implemented.
That would fix one animation bug. I think there were two others with BP installed (BAM mixups).
3)Edit the creature files in question to contain the exact same animate.IDS slot as CtB driders. That would be the easiest and could leave the creatures for future mods that want BP AI and use the extra Drider creatures.

This is a known NTotSC bug. Fixed locally for the NTotSC patch I'll be putting out soon.A botched install perhaps but the creature NTLLINDE.CRE (NTotSC) is getting LLINDE.DLG from Trademeet and should have NTLLINDE.DLG. Fixed in game with NI.

Thanks. I should read more carefully...The easiest fix is in blue. No renaming just copy the files in the RoT\anim\yeti to the override. Everyone will have the same. It was a BP mishap.
