So, I will try to mention all the issues I encountered during the whole install process. BWS worked very well in general, I encountered some small issues during the NSIS unpacking process, I had to unpack some of them manually but this was related to my operating system, so not a big problem. With BWP install.bat I had most of the problems. First of all I had the install process stopped completely twice because of Allison NPC. Somehow setup-allison.exe didn't get updated to the new weidu version by BWP fixpack so it jammed the whole install process . Lucky I found the problem myself, deleted the mod, and went on a third time.

Another small issue like others have reported was that the install.bat announced me that I don't have the textpack folder although I selected an English install. Next, at the end of the install I found that dark horizons didn't install at all like others have reported as you will see in the debug file I uploaded. Also because I've seen that Lollorian said that maybe BGT didn't install correctly I uploaded it's debug also.

And finally the biggest issue I encountered when I started the game was that I got Huge amounts of experience at every kill. So after I killed the first assassin in Candlekeep I got over 1000 exp, and after I exited Candlekeep I killed two wild dogs that gave me over 1000 exp each :( .

White Agnus he likes to have a changelog of BGSHANK.cre and BGCARBOS.cre.
So one can track down the XP-issue.
THINK! - It's not illegal.

Can you please remind me on how to get the change log? I used to know this but lack of practice...

Check out the Jarno FAQ ;)

Btw, if someone's doing it, can anyone make a changelog of AREA130B.BIF to know what's causing those Bonehill errors :D (I dunno if .bifs can be changelogged though :P)

Cheers,
Lol

Starting the change-log.bat ;)

And to let you know: WA had the same issue and already found out, so Do not install Enemyupgrade.
It gives you an insane random XP boost. So balance is totally gone. You may get 1000 XP for rats, you get 2000 for regulars, and so on... since it works on all creatures. And it does not make the xp twice as much or so, but it gives the high bonus. So the whole game will be screwed.

Read here for the Readme.

So Enemy Upgrade was the guilty mod... I had a vague suspicion that it might be to blame but it was better to make sure. I posted the result of the changelog just in case it might give some insight. Thanks for the help Dabus, I will start the install yet again... Like Darpaek said once... "Fourth time's the charm!!!" :P

The install was successful !! 8) . It seems that the previous problems are gone. Enemy upgrade was truly causing the exp problem, Dark Horizons installed correctly, but in this install I got the problem with bonehill having an error . This error seems to appear totally random since in my previous three installs I didn't have it.

This is the error: ERROR: BIFF [d:\games\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF]: unable to extract-copy file 6
[AM1304N.WAV] --biff-get error: Failure("read 0 of 8 bytes from [d:\\games\\Black Isle\\BGII - SoA\\CD3\\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF]")

Hmmm ... that's really strange, in your last install:

[d:\games\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF] 22726164 bytes (compressed), 7 files, 1 tilesets
[BH-REST/AM1304N.WAV] created from [./DATA/AREA130B.BIF]
[BH-REST/AM1304.WAV] created from [./DATA/AREA130B.BIF]

and now:

[d:\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF] 22726164 bytes (compressed), 7 files, 1 tilesets
ERROR: BIFF [d:\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF]: unable to extract-copy file 6
[AM1304N.WAV] --biff-get error: Failure("read 0 of 8 bytes from [d:\\Black Isle\\BGII - SoA\\CD3\\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF]")

[BH-REST/AM1304.WAV] created from [./DATA/AREA130B.BIF]

Very strange

Maybe a changelog of AREA130B.bif can help
Copy it into the override from the CD3\data folder first ;)

Cheers,
Lol

The changelog showed nothing at the results, maybe something else should be done...

*sigh* Atleast now we know that .bifs can't be changelogged :D

What I'm wondering is those double \\'s in the path of the error line (d:\\Black Isle\\BGII - SoA\\CD3\\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF). The line just above it shows a normal single \ path (d:\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3\/DATA/AREA130B.BIF)

Maybe a report in the BoneHill forums seems overdue now :D

Cheers,
Lol
