Ntkrotan.dlg needs an action on Reply#1 to the following line:
"Then good indeed! I not need to find myself! Ah, Eldod. I should expect traitor to traitor me too. No matter. A useful tool you. A useful tool your skull be next!"
As it is Krotan and Hobgod won't turn hostile if this particular line of dialogue is triggered.

Putting these two as actions to the aforementioned Reply#1 fixed the problem.
[codebox]ActionOverride("NTHOBGOD",Enemy())
Enemy()[/codebox]

Fixed locally. Problem was NTKROTAN.dlg, but not the action issue described.

Book of Ignorance Quest:

Well, is it a bug or not but i must mention this. After getting the quest and finding Book of Ignorance a player would normally go talk to the person who gave you the quest (Brother Hasdar in this case)

When i do that i get 2 dialog options one about "let's get the promised reward" and the other about "let's kill and loot you for reward while keeping the book"

Either one end up Hasdar taking the book from you and walking free. If i can chase/find him anywhere else after this point it might be acceptable. But Heaball is still asking for the Book (thinking of Hasdar works for Heaball he should have it already).

As a player who wants to keep the Book i only have the option to "direct attack/kill without even talking to a person who gave the quest"

I have 2 suggestions here:

- Let people who chose the second dialoge option have their fight with Hasdar. (I assume this is not happening is a bug) Bug alright. Fixed dialog so Haeball goes enemy and doesn't take the book anymore.
- Modify the quest a bit for the people who chose first option. Either one might work after letting Hasdar walk free with the book:
Heaball doesnt ask for the Book anymore (still drop it on kill or locked away so you can understand Hasdar is his man) or a better one;
Heaball asks you for the book, you tell you found it already and gave to someone named Hasdar. Heaball gives a clue where to find "double betrayer" Hasdar and the book of course. Or a hard one;
Hasdar appears in Heaball's tower (Too small though)

Cheers

P.S.: Give experience for God's sake for people who is watching Hasdar walking away with the Book but have nothing extra in their purse.

I wonder if there will soon be a new version available for download? As I can see quite a few bugs have been fixed and it would be great to have an update :)

I have an error while installing the NTotSC. I have installed DSotSC without any problem, but with NTotSC there is error while installation in polish language:

Using Language [Polski]

[NTotSC/Language/polish/setup.tra] PARSE ERROR at line 308 column 1-23
Near Text: Kolczuga
syntax error

[NTotSC/Language/polish/setup.tra] ERROR at line 308 column 1-23
Near Text: Kolczuga
Parsing.Parse_error
ERROR: parsing [NTotSC/Language/polish/setup.tra]: Parsing.Parse_error
ERROR: problem parsing TP file [SETUP-NTOTSC.TP2]: Parsing.Parse_error

FATAL ERROR: Parsing.Parse_error

Press ENTER to exit.

I downloaded all of the mods from your site. Mods installed before NTotSC are BGT-WeiDU and DSotSC (all in BG2 folder).

Thanks for any help,
Lavo

Mummy.cre in ar30pb.are breaks Korgan's quest, as that's a quest specific creature. It should be mummy01.cre.

Hello,

Playing NTOSC I've already done the Northerne Citadel and Northern Coast quest. After having talked to the mayor of the fisher vilage's in order to sail to the salamander island I shall find Nadalin in Baldu'r gate. But when I meet him he is only able to say : "It's nice to meet you.I'm Nadalin."
Shall I go further in other DTOSC/NTOSC quests to make him sail back to Northern Village or is it a bug and in this case I know that there is some CLUA tricks with stg like "set global effect "and so on. So please could someone help me ? :mellow:

That is a known bug; try my mod (see signature) to fix it.
From what I understand, you have already solved the problem with salamanders?

Yes of course, I've already solved salamanders and sirens problem. I've seen via NI and as far as I'm able to understand is that Nadalin's Global is still set to 0 instead of being to 1.... The only mistake I made is not speaking to him first before going to this f...Northern Coast as I was in Baldur's Gate.
I'll see and try your mod but my problem is that my BG Games is a huge mega install. Will your mod be "safe" and not kill it ?

Ok, Turambar. I've seen your fixes and tweaks. Seems to be a quite fine and impressive job as far as I'm concerned. A shame that I missed it during the installation of my mega mod...
BUT : If I install this, maybe even the pack for BG1, Dsotc and Ntosc I'm fearing to have for sure my mega install bloody killed ! It took me weeks to have it and I don't want this huge house of cards to crash. :crying:

I don't want this huge house of cards to crash. :crying:

Simple way to test it:
Copy your complete BGII - SoA folder to a backup folder.
Install Turambar's Tweaks on your existing mega install.
If something goes wrong you still have your backup.

Of course. I didn't think about it ! TY very much.
Problem : My mega install takes more than 19GB...and so many times maybe a good hour to copy/paste.
I'll think about it.
I'll also try with CLUAConsole to set Nadalin's GLOBAL to 1 and made a save before... Anyone objection about it ? Will dthis disturb other files ????

It shouldn't create problems. Those components you are mentioning are designed to be installed late and to patch things without overwriting anything. And you can always uninstall my mod afterwards, if there are any problems.
Anyway, in order to give you better advise, I'd need your weidu.log.

No, that should work without problems.

Item stuff

NTLEAT03.ITM error: Effect #9 (opcode 22) has strange probabilities (0 and 0)
- Now grants +1 Luck as per descrip (also changed target to Self)
NTMIOTPB.ITM error: Ability #0 Effect #0 Opcode (186) - Non-existent Resource (.ARE)
- Now properly grants a 100% chance to critical hit (changed to opcode 301, target self, power 0, amount 19, moved into global effects)

You can find fixed versions of the above items in the attachments in this post :)

NTBLUN07.ITM's Strength bonus requires a Save vs. Spells which it prolly shouldn't :P

AR51PB.ARE's (area under Firewine Bridge) rest spawns use ZOMBIEB.CRE (Bassilus' Zombies) when they should probably have been ZOMBJU01.CRE (the Juju Zombies that greet you when you enter the place)... Don't ask why I rested there :ph34r: (I was desperate! Don't judge me!)

Why not Bassilus' zombies? In my game, they weren't hostile and tended to die randomly because I'd already finished his quest :P Attaching a fixed ARE here in case someone's not visited the area yet :)
