Hey y'all, I'm hoping this is the right place to put this, and hope you'll excuse me in advance for a silly and long-winded question.
I recently downloaded the Hidden Kits mod and have been enjoying it so far. However, I recently realized that I may have a problem with Imoen achieving the Eldritch Phantom kit. I misread the description initially and thought that she needed to dual-class from a thief to a mage, as per her original character in SOA, and would then level her thief class at one level behind her mage class. Apparently it's the other way around, thief levelling ahead of mage. Problem is, not realizing the direction of the requisite dual-class I unwisely proceeded to install another mod that changes Imoen's dual to Thief --> Conjurer (the presumed advantage being extra spells per level and divination as the off sphere). I assume the end result will be to fuck with the Hidden Kits mod, as all the other relevant NPC now have the dual class required for their hidden kit when you first meet them.

However, Imoen Conjurer mod was non-Weidu and so involved changing the .cre files directly. My understanding of this is rather unsophisticated, but my assumption is that if I can swap in the old .cre files for Imoen things should be ok again. I guess I could just install SOA again and pull them from there, but I wondered if anyone had them just lying about. Alternatively, if anyone has other recommendations for how to get this to work I'd appreciate that as well. Ideally, I'd like Imoen to end up as a Conjurer --> Thief and add the Eldritch phantom hidden kit. That would seem to make her a very palatable character, rather than lacking some substance relative to other powerful spellcasters at high levels. I'm assuming that's not feasible though, and would really just like to get her back to normal so that I can try out the eldritch phantom kit. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Since this seems to be specifically about Hidden Kits, I've moved it to that forum. :)

No idea where her original files are, however you can look in the Hidden Kits directory, there is a subdirectory called NPCs there. Simply copy the CRE files for IMOEN (there should be 2 files) into your override folder and that should do the trick.

Note that if you have already been to Spellhold, you will need to start a new game for the new CREs to take effect.

I have saves before spellhold. Thanks very much for your help with this. Btw, I was intrigued by the idea of a special ability for the phantom that would put protection from magic on your backstab target for 2 seconds. Is that implemented in the latest version, or something for future releases.

The Prot from Magic will be for a future Release ; but I will probably allow the caster to cast spells, just that protection spells like Prot from Magic Weapons, Stoneskin, Spell Shield, etc will not stick. I will need to test this for power issues, as many scripts cause the protections ONLY to come up initially and never again.

I'm trying to wait for Bug Reports to come in as I will probably be changing quite a bit of the Implementation to make it less likely to hiccup (like making spells unmemorised aka Level Drain) or having Issue Lapses (ie you level up to Level 12 and immediately Dual, causing the script to "miss" recording your level 12 achievement)...

but it seems the current version has relatively few bug reports OR is simply not too popular, lol.

I was actually at the beginning of the BGII part of my BGT game, looking forward to testing HK - and then I lost my install with the new notebook I got :crying:
However, I am now actually busying myself with your other stuff, Zyraen, so I hope not to disappoint you even though I canīt comment on the HK now ;-)
