Is it safe to use ShadowKeeper with CA savegames?

I used it to add in the potion of voice as a way of circumventing the bug of not being able to complete the quest associated with making the potion and getting the amulet. After this, the infamous Chair Riddle scrolls started appearing as random drops on slain monsters, then an elf named ....uh..."Elf" aproaches me in Mistmoor with the tell tell signs of following the party trying to spawn dialogue that never spawns, but leaves me hanging in dialogue mode with the associated problems with that.

Can I fix here dialogue hang, making her say what she needs to, or is my game screwed? Is it shadowkeepers fault?

Shadowkeeper should work the same with CA as it does with the vanilla game. There have always been the occasional reports of shadowkeeper corrupting a game, but the reports are rare and I have never experienced it. I believe the bugs you are experiencing are in CA, not because of using shadowkeeper, but I don't really know for certain.

"Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart-arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!"

Well, I wouldn't insert plot items, as the potion plot is rounded one.
You first have to talk twice to the man in the bar, then talk to the elf woman in the -forgot the magic shops name-, find the flower in either of the two areas it can be found, then bring it to the elf woman and she then needs the time to make the potion(~16 hours which I slept always as the plot gives that room), then go back and get the potion and then bring it to the man in the bar, and you get the amulet. After that the option should come up which the man offers to make the other potions from the rags.

I can honestly say I have used shadowkeeper with every version of CA and it always works fine. In fact some of the .cre files of the NPC's were made as a player character and edited in shadowkeeper. As for the dialog you are missing it is not important, I think it is two female elves talking to Aesdale, is this the dialog?

I wish I knew your exaqct setup so I could replicate your pristine results. :woot: If the quest had worked in the intended manner as you described, then I wouldn't need to shadowkeep the itemn in the first place. It appeared on my system as the mere act of getting the woman to make the potion frlagged the quest as done. If I had it made and returned it to him, he wouldn't talk to me. If I had her make it, and went back to talk to him before it was completed, he progressed to bragging about being a better mage and offering to make the potions from the rags, not asking if it was done yet. In either scenario, I never got the quest item. If I shadowkeeped the potion in without asking the woman to make it, he would reward me...the act of collecting the completed potion from the woman seemed to trigger a no talk from him and the act of of just getting her to make it triggered his post-quest dialogue, but no reward.

Yes, that is the dialogue. It isn't the importance of it, but what the error of continualy being in dialogue mode does to the game i.e can't sleep and can't walk more than a gew steps at a time.

The 2 female elves are trying to talk to Aesdale. Since they start the dialog not him, your game shouldn't freeze every few steps. However, if the dialog did start and didn't end correctly, than you would have this problem.
