I'm wondering do you have any favorite class kits coming from mods? Where are they from/what do they do? Are they balanced or just plain cheese? :)

Also, have you ever played with the mod that allows for multi-class kitted character? How did that work out? Did you use normal kits of kits from some mod/s? And what is the name of that mod/mod that has that component?

Just looking to hear about some experiences. Thought maybe it's time to spice up my BG times next time and stop being suck boring stickler-to-the-basics!

Well no.
But here's plenty to choose and to have, see you can have 6 kitted characters, and they can each have 3 kits...meaning 18 mits, yes mits... ahh the cheese. There isn't a platinium dwarf in the hill that this isn't going to be able to greased the wheels under from.

See you can install the Level 1 NPCs NPC components that allow you to put any class/kit/proficiency/skill combo you wish to the NPC you wish to have. And on top of that, you can use the Multiclass Multikit Builder Mod to make scripts and the resulting kits.

That's a bit work of course and like said, it's likely to result to mountains of cheese.

But it's all based on desition to do the most. And then there's custom kits on top. And a few speciality mod kits that won't work with these...

This of course doesn't cover the EE games yet, as the above mods aren't nesararily made EE compatible, but when the EET comes out, but you can use the EEKeeper to get the L1NPCs effect if you don't wish to wait, and you know what you are doing. Or Near Infinity...

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Mountains of cheese sounds like too much cheese :D I was thinking about something less OP.

Last time I played I just added a Wild Mage kit to my multi-class mage via ShadowKeeper and it worked just fine (got additional spell slots, got wild surges, got Wild Mage spells, not sure what could've gone wrong but I didn't see it happen). But ShadowKeeper only allows to add one kit obviously, and judging by what the linked topic says things are more complicated than they seem...

I'll munch on it. Then maybe I'll just stick to 1 kit in multi-class or some fun recommendation for mod-borne kits if someone posts about one.

Well, of course the mount of cheese can be chosen. For example, using the Level 1 NPcs to make Imoen a Swashbuckeler and then in BGT game, dualing her to be a mage after the level 7 won't be too much of cheese, as you also loose the thieves backstab ability, but gain a few AC bonuses.
That's not too much. Making Minsc into an actual Berserker, or even a Barbarian ... not too much.
Taking Jaheira, making her a Ranger/Cleric multi class and using the MMB mod to add a Rangerkit+Clerickit, now sounds a bit OP. Say Dark Ranger/Priest of Talos. Sounds fine.
Or Sarevok, the Kensai/Assassin.
