At some point it may be possible to draw up a single tp2 file for both versions. They differ in the usage of relatively few files.

Yes, file names really use a lot of the official Bioware prefixes: SPCL, SPIN, SPPR, SPWI.
Simplest solution is to add "SPDM" to the start of all spell names, but it seems that the game can't use file names that are longer than 8 letters.

At the Command Prompt, DIR /B /S gave me a list of the spell names used by this mod:

Spoiler

I can run this through a spreadsheet and see if the official Bioware prefixes can be replaced by SPDM.

The breakdown of prefixes is:

None              6
SPDM            280

SPCL             31
SPIN             27
SPPR              5
SPWI              9

Total         358

In the tp2 file the Copy function permits easy renaming of spells. Certain spells have different prefixes but the same numbers...

I installed the mod to IWD1EE alright. Heart of Winter will require a specially written items list for a starting DS, using HoW items. Just use the standard Sorcerer list I suppose.

Well that day is here: -can't upload to SHS-... so here it is, elsewhere.

They differ in the usage of relatively few files.

Yeah, that means that you just combine the two .tp2 files, one after another, and use logical tools to allow installing in different games and roll with it. Aka you can actually make the mess a little cleaner if you wish and find the inclination... but the combining is easy.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Good, we have one download for both versions...

Cleaning up spell prefixes will require alteration of anything that calls the spells concerned. Like Luab tables.
There seem to be nine pairs of spells that have different prefixes but the same final numbers. This will take a while.

IWD1EE has a different set of Druid spells, hence work will need to be done before the DS Druid spells work correctly. Replacing BG2 spells with IWD1 counterparts.
You can create your own PC in Heart of Winter but he won't get any equipment?

Excellent work there Imp.
I have updated the Readmes, they are attached below.

Broadly the kit will work on IWD1EE, hence installation should be allowed for this game. I am aware of only two problems, one major and one not so bad:
The Druid spells will be messed up because IWD1EE has a different list to BG2. This will take a few days to fix?
Heart of Winter custom PCs, those that you create yourself, won't get any items at all?! I figure this only applies to PCs who start in HoW rather than continue from IWD1EE.

BGT, the SPDMHEAL spell dates back to the original mod by Constant Gaw. It makes up for lack of 1d6 rolls for hp. So it should be put back in the Clab file.

Edit:

IWD1EE Druid and Cleric spells can be used for all DS Druid spells except Poison. Even the latter may have a suitable replacement. This may require a separate tp2 file, which will be no problem.

Unbelievable, you guys actually did it! Downloaded and installed on BG:SoD, 2.6.6 and it works (mostly). There are couple of slight issues though, I hope you two will see this post eventually.  In any case kudos and respects Ishad Nha and The Imp!     :coolthumb:
