All monster_icewind animations bugged

BG2EE animation monster icewind bug jab east backslash A3E A2E

After making a new [monster_icewind] type animation i noticed when monster plays jab animation while faces to east it should use MOIDA3E animation to display proper jab animation but game instead displays backlash animation MOIDA2E, it is some bug in the source code probably, because animation file itself has correct animation.
 
few examples of such monsters to test it eg.: MSKBA3E.BAM (MSKB  skeleton fiend) or MNO3 orog chieftain, MNO3A3E.BAM
 
slash anim.: MNO3A1E.BAM

My question: Does anyone know some patch, fix for BG2EE main executable file, or some way of editing code with hexedit to fix this?

Extract the files to the games override folder, and rename them crosswise... works.

I had the same results in BG2EE. The classic BG2 doesn't have this issue.

I observed same issue with classic BG2-TOB, npc must be turned to east

Ah, that's because I tested with TobEx and it fixes that issue for the classic:

 

TobEx fixed Icewind Dale-style animations (of IDs 0xE***) that use the 3rd attack animation (A3). These would otherwise have display the 2nd attack animation in northeast and east orientations if 'Sprite Mirror' is disabled in baldur.ini.
