We finally have a forum for this mod. This mod aims to make Mazzy Fentan romanceable to all male Halflings, Gnomes and Dwarves (you've got a shot Korgan!). She will romance you regardless of alignment but treat her wrong or be evil and she won't be happy. There will be no stat restrictions unless people have good ideas and reasoning and I will take it into consideration.
There is another Mazzy Romance mod at www.dmrealms.net which this was originally part of before we decided to make two projects and I recommend trying it when it is released. Feel free to ask any questions or make comments through out the forums. If you think you can help check out 'The Team.'

Somebody had bought up something about stolen content which is absolutely fake. The only thing I still have from when the project was one is 2 LoveTalk's of which I had not submitted and therefor were not even in the plan. The other disbanded ideas were also written by me but were discarded for the reason that I am picky sometimes. That is all, hope you enjoy the mod when it is released.

This mod includes a romance (as mentioned) as well as a short friendship for female NPCs, a few small extra interjections and a couple of small quests to expand on Mazzy. There will also be an optional component for a TrueSword kit.

Don't worry about speed of progress... slow and steady is much better than a frantic rush followed by a complete stop! Most serious BG2 fans are more interested in quality than speed, and are prepared to wait for a good mod.

And yours sounds very promising... I can assure you that you have more supporters than you realise :thumb:

Some support?!? I think I love you for making this mod.Now if only it would be for non-halflings as well, since Patrick wasn't one and all.... :whistling:

It certainly seems like I have a lot more supporters than I realized and it is good to know. Also, my coding skills are improving so that certainly is a good thing.
Last thing, are we sure Patrick wasn't a halfling? I always thought he was and I heard that from a lot of other people, may I ask where it says he is human?

I'm pretty sure he was. If you have Mazzy and you talk to Mr. Thunderburp, they have a dialogue and you get boots of stealth or somethin. anyway, I think, somewhere, (wow, run-on) Patrick's halflingity (cool word, that) is mentioned or something, or I may just be thinking things.

I finally joined FW after lurking for a while just to let you know I'm TOTALLY EXCITED about this project!

Mazzy was always my favourite female NPC and it frustrated me incredibly that she wasn't a romance option.

Still modding the Mod for the Wicked... It is a big project you know... And I got sidetracked (several times) a bit... sorry.

BTW, as you've been working on this so long, shouldn't you be near finishing?

The DMR project is slowed down majorly due to hardware failure at the moment, without the team and hardware problems it'd likely be finished already.

I've always loved gnome characters in RPGs, but never played one in Baldur's Gate 2 because of the lack of romance. Can't wait for this mod. :thumb:

Where is the clue there was a romance? I just thought a very good friendship not necessarily lovers

@ Deathsangel: I can't remember where but I am pretty sure he was mentioned or implied as her lover. In a banter she says she isn't over patrick (this is to valygar) or at least that's what I remember

@ Taza: Writing is all finished and coding is underway but because I only just started to learn coding it is a little slower than I had hoped but I am making good steady progress.

In Mazzy's first dialogue segment with you, she says "My beloved Patrick has been turned into a shadow"

Doesn't sound like a comradely type of relationship.

Yes, they were lovers, that much is certain. Mazzy just doesn't show all her feelings, being a stoic type warrior. I guess that it works the same Jaheira does, she just lives on and hears something about Patrick in a dream like Jaheira... or would work so if coded.

Btw there is a Truesword of Avoreen kit already made, though it may have some bugs, with a Gibberlings 3 mod.
