Has anyone actually tried this battle since reading this thread?
When I have a chance I will run this scenerio with active scripts to see if that makes a difference.

I cant believe no one has either not seen this issue or that no one can confirm that the Charm person mammal spell worked as expected in this encounter.
Once again, has anyone seen this work or not work as expected?

Again, this is what I would expect. A charmed or dire charmed player is only going to attack if it is scripted to do so. Just like they stand around and let the enemy hit them if they don't have a script attached to them. Most NPCs have the WTASIGHT or a similiar script assigned to them (the same script most enemies have) so they will attack enemies by default. The player doesn't have any scripts assigned unless you change the settings. I usually leave the PC alone so I can micromanage their fights and leave the NPCs to do their normal scripted attacks.
However, if they get charmed, dominated, or whatever, they will attack me.

I ran through it a couple of nights ago and had Khalid charmed. He promptly turned and attacked. I don't micro-manage, he was using BP-FTCL. Had to counter charm.Okay, I went back through again. This time I had one member get charmed. They didn't attack anyone. However, that person doesn't have any scripts assigned to them either. The only time she finally attacked was when another NPC attacked first. So that may have just been a reaction.
