It pains me to say this, because Wynne did such an excellent job in voicing Chloe, but if I'm going to have any spoken lines for Chloe in ToB, I'll have to find another voice actress since Wynne dropped out of the modding business. I figure while I'm at it, I could have the SoA parts re-recorded with the new actress as well as get some additional lines recorded that I didn't get a chance to when Wynne recorded for Chloe. So, if you're interested, let me know. Send me an audition recording, if possible to Lucythebeast@hotmail.com. Try to keep em small, because hotmail is rather fickle about large attachments. Otherwise, try to catch me on a messenger if your attachment is too large for hotmail to handle.
There are several other parts that could use voice acting as well, including: Akadia, Chloe's mum. Maybe another female role that I can't really mention without spoiling, but needless to say she's a teen so a younger voice could work.
When SoA comes along, the Chloe voice will be very important. Also, I'll want a male or two, don't know about females yet since I'm not that far along. too bad about wynne...i have a pc voice pack of hers, called "innocent" and that is my favorite voice for a female pc...

I'd love to help, but my voice is less than good, and my recording consists of a 10 dollar microphone and cars running in the background. Very proffessional. Very Baldur's gate.

Voice less than good... well that's subjective isn't it? You never know, you voice might fit perfectly with the character. If you want to give it a shot go ahead. I suppose I should give some sample lines to record so I don't get submissions along the lines of "Uh... yeah... um... this is my voice. Ok bye." :-)

Like I said, I might want more than one male voice actor. I'll know more one I actually have time to start writing the dialogues for Chloe-ToB. Do the voice however you want. If you want to try it more than one way, feel free. One of the male voices I'll want voiced will be strong but soft, not a loud booming voice like Minsc's but more like the type of voice that people pause to listen to even if it's barely above a whisper. That may be difficult to find though, so I'd settle for something close to it.

Just a bit curious. The sample female line you've got there looks to be one of Akadia's. Do you have a Chloe line you'd like an audition of? I haven't a professional studio or anything, but I've an okayish voice, I'm told. I've been looking forward to Chloe for a long time now. Can't wait until you've got everything polished up!

Yeah look at the dialogue samples I have, like the Sample Banters thread, Sample GTKU, Sample Lovetalk, etc. Pick one you like. ;-) Or just use the one above and say it as you think Chloe would say it. It's up to you. I just wrote those lines out to get a feel for the person's voice. If you want to say it more than one way, that gives me a feel for your range. If you want to do the above line AND a Chloe line, that's fine. :-) I could use a new voice actress for Chloe and a voice actress for Akadia even before Chloe SoA gets released but if that is not to be it can wait will later.

Hello! I'm new here... one of my friends clued me into all the mods out there for Baldur's Gate 2, waiting to be downloaded.... so I reinstalled the game after it had been gathering dust for about a year and a half... and am back to my goblin hacking ways... Anyways... I hear you need a voice actor....
Well, I'd probably be up for it... I do actual acting at school (im in Grade 11 rite now) and people say I'm pretty decent.... I can do mostly any part with a voice... a thug, an idiot, a player... i could give it a shot... I have a microphone and everything.... i think it owuld be pretty interesting...
