Anyone else have this problem? I really like the look of the UI, so is there anything I can do to remedy this problem? Is there a way to manually shift all the text back up a space?

Okay to fix the problem here is what you can do:
1. Open up your Oblivion.ini file
2. Replace the fonts section (not including the title) With the text below
SFontFile_1=Data\Fonts\Kingthings_Regular.fnt
SFontFile_2=Data\Fonts\Kingthings_Shadowed.fnt
SFontFile_3=Data\Fonts\Tahoma_Bold_Small.fnt
SFontFile_4=Data\Fonts\Daedric_Font.fnt
SFontFile_5=Data\Fonts\Tahoma_Bold_Small.fnt
3. Save and close the file
4. Enjoy

Thanks a million. Font's changed, but at least everything is aligned properly now.

Out of curiosity I changed my ini font listing to the ones you suggested Karandras, and that seems to have fixed the issue. So it appears that the OOO+Shivering Isles patch breaks the fonts in some manner.
Can anyone who understands this stuff help me solve the problem? I'd really like to continue using the UI, but to do so I need to use this patch to avoid CTDs, and the patch breaks the mod! I'm quite sure I've done everything according to the readme's. And like I said, all was well before the patch. I also use OMOD for both, and pulling the patch and reinstalling the original 1.2 fixed the problem. I'm fairly certain this is a small fix, but I've dug through the xml and can't make heads or tails of it.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I previously had problems with the Phinix Dark UI mod with the text disappearing, I used the above .ini fix and it worked just fine - but now I've installed a few more mods and the disappearing font problem has arisen again.
The font is just gone.
So I re-tried the fix, tried reverting the font to both Oblivion default and Phinix' default fonts and still no text in the inventory.
Ive also tried changing load orders of my mods, but that didn't seem to do anything.
I'm just about to uninstall Phinix Dark UI and hope that everything works well.
I'm posting here in the hope that someone will have a fix.

Other than that font changing thing I have no idea You could try over at Tesnexus, they might know more about it
This is one hellof a frustrating problem, I've had exactly the same thing happen. The text is all just gone. Reverting to the default fonts works, but then of course the new UI is hosed.
I know I had this problem something like a year ago, too, and I must have fixed it, but after 2 hours of swearing I can't for the life of me figure out how. Ay ideas out there? I can't even find any references to the problem out there, other than this one thread.
