Any chance? I really don't like the background added in the pack. I would rather have a black or no background. The background are cheesy and amaturish looking. Which makes it distracting to play.

Also, the font is fine with me (although a bigger version would be nice) since I play like 6 inches from my 30" panel anyway.

How hard is it to just center the ui for 2560x1600 resolution without all the background added? Why is it limited to only three resolutions? Once I insteaded the UI mod, it won't let me switch to 2560x1600 resolution anymore or any other resolutions other than the three supported by the UI mod. :(

Also, what about scaling the UI bigger? Is this not possible?

Anyway, thanks for your hard work.

Offtopic: Anyway to reverse the 'egg' mod to Morte? I accidentally answered yes. Now my skull friend is an egg friend.

I think Ghostdog has said it would not be practible to use a higher res then 1240 x 1024 (or x 800 widescreen), i don't know if this will change in future.

Also, you sure you have the UI pack correctly installed? I can't imagine how it could be seen as amateurish looking, it fits the game perfectly.

I'd have to agree, considering that I'm pretty sure the backgrounds ghostdog used were drawn by the same people who drew everything else in the game. Unused artwork that shipped with the game files, or art that is used but in a more limited fashion, I believe.

Sure. Rerun the tweak pack installer, and say "no change" till you get to that component, then hit "U" for uninstall.

Qwinn -- Thanks. I love your packs. I have all three installed. Maybe you can include instruction on the order to install them. I installed fix pack, unfinished business, and finally tweak pack. But I'm not sure that's the proper order or not.

Well, maybe that's why they're unused in the first place. The original QA guys probably didn't think they stand up to the quality of the rest of the artwork. Either that or the artwork don't work well with the UI. I just think it would be better to give the user an option to op-out on installing background. But maybe this is not possible. Ghostdog?

But there is still the problem where ghostdog's mod restricts resolution to only the 3 that it supports. You can't change to 2560x1600 without errors afterwards. Maybe he can fix that in a future update.

Why can't you use the UI in the three UI resolution in a different resolution like 2560x1600? I wouldn't mine having 1280x800 UI in 2560x1600 resolution.

2560x1600  ? Sorry, there wont be support in my UI for any other resolution except maybe 1280x720. I consider the 1280x resolution already big for the game and really my main goal was to make a functional and good-looking UI for all aspect ratios. Taplonaplo had made a handy mod that centers the windows and the other game elements for any resolution but I can't seem to find the link anymore. Maybe he can help you.

ghostdog -- Looks like the 'quote' button isn't working. Thanks for the tip. I've pm'ed Taplonaplo asking about his mod.

So when you say "...really my main goal was to make a functional and good-looking UI for all aspect ratios" that includes 2560x1600 it's 16:10?

Or do you mean one resolution for each aspect (16:9, 16:10, 5:4, 5:19, etc?).

Anyway, thanks for the great mod (even if it's not very flexible for the user). I mean no offense of course. :) I know it takes ages to make a mod like this. I just wish it wasn't crippled at 3 resolutions. But hey, it's your mod.

Give me a day to implement the new features, as i hadn't touched it since october. :)
to ghost: the reason why you couldn't find it is because i didn't reupload it after you pointed out an error in a line when i copied the resolution checker from it for you :D
