I love them all! 
It's so interesting to me to see how different the takes on various characters are, and that's one of the reasons that the more alternate portraits there are, the better, imo. I think we all bring different ideas into the game, and the more choices we have to realize those concepts, the richer the immersion.

Are you taking requests on NPC mod portraits, I wonder? There's one male one we wanted to make(the mod is quite close to beta), and it seems you're just the artist we need, quality-wise.

I'm liking these a lot - they'd make lovely alternate portraits. (Especially Coran, whose default portrait makes me cringe.) Hope to see some more soon!

I am seriously loving the *expressions* on these portraits. (Hell yes. Aerie and Anomen are probably my favourite in terms of sheer characterisation) You've got a lovely drawing style, nice and flowing. Dig the shading that's there, and what mostly amazes me is how you've drawn in lines that might look garish on other pictures (e.g., outlining the side of the nose on Anomen), yet still look fabulous on these. More, please!

Updated the first post, and added a fully colored Aerie and an alternative Edwin without the beard (though I must say, he looks less evil without it 
)
I made Aerie's eyes a lot bigger, and modified Edwin to make him look more...dark
I'm sorry that I dont do these faster, honestly this pace is the best I can manage
And yes, I will definately put Jaheira on my todo list also.

I don't see a big change in Aerie's eyes, meself, but since I seem to be the only one saying anything about them, I guess you needn't worry about it. NO complaints about the coloring, though. It's wonderful

With the positive being said, I'd like to come with a few, tiny tiny setbacks - her forehead is a *little* too big, and like Galsic, I'd figure her eyes a little bit bigger, and more tilted. But those are such minor issues, so they're not really a problem - I adore it!

As for the Aeries, I like the facial features of the edited one more, but she seems to be too bright/pale to me

I like the 2nd one better.
I think Xzar's pretty good actually and you already have the ones mentioned I think should get better.

I too like the second, edited version of Aerie better.
I'm glad you're doing Xan's portrait. While I do not have anything to object about the original one, I always thought that it was much more vague than the ones of ther NPCs. They even did it in a way that didn't need to show that he has elven ears, which always seemed odd to me.

I always liked Xzar's original portrait. I thought it was kind of cute, actually. 
I second the appreciation for a new Xan portrait; too dark and shiny at the same time, and I always liked the tired appearance but could never edit it to look decent in BG2 for Kulyok's mod.
I'm glad Safana is going to keep the minour flaws she had in her original portrait and look more attractive.
Coran looks good, although his nose looks a bit wide for an elf. I like everything else.
And your Aerie is so beautiful. I like the second more, and the paleness is a very good thing to me.

I prefer the second Aerie, too. She's just gorgeous and so is Edwin. Anomen is so very sexy.
