Hi!

I don't know if I should post it here or perhaps at the BG2 Fixpack forum but the in my game the Potion of Mirrored Eyes does not work.

I tested it twice and I was petrified by the basilisk's gaze both times.

Might as well cross-post in BG2 Fixpack's forum. I have no idea why it isn't working in your game. It has always worked for me.

Doesn't seem to work for me either.

The culprit might be the Quest Pack by SimDing0 which modifies potn38.itm (Potion of Mirrored Eyes) to grant extra protections that are not taken in consideration in the unmodded version of it.

Had you Quest Pack installed in your BGT game, kobold?

Hi!

I have the same problem also with my installation (WeiDU log posted). I NI'ed potn38 to change the last effect type from WIZARD_PROTECTION_FROM_PETRIFICATION to:

Effect Type: Immunity to effect (101)
Effect: Petrification (134)

and left the rest the same. This configuration seems to work quite well and give the allotted time. I did immunity to effect because that was the same effect as that of the Protection from Petrification spell and Petrification (134) corresponding to the Basilisks gaze weapon which uses the same effect as well. Should fairly simple for experienced NI users. I'm not a coder myself so I wouldn't know how to write a mod for this although it seems to be fairly easy to do.

Hope that helped,
Manwe

This .rar has Nythrun's code in it. It installed with no errors, but I didn't get the chance to make sure it actually worked on a Basilisk, so use with caution until it's confirmed.

Thank you very much.

Downloaded and tried to install - no TP2 file included. Oops??

The rar is missing a TP2 file; for windows users this can be fixed by creating a new file. Make sure to have Show File Extensions checked in the Tools -> Folder Options -> View box. Once done make a new text file and rename it "setup-questpackmirroreyes.tp2". Accept the file extension change. Then open it and copy and paste Nythrun's code at this link:

http://forums.gibber...s...st&p=105451

Save it then run the EXE and it should work.
Also I was wondering if that fix could be moved from BG2 Fixpack fixes to Questpack or some related forum, thanks.

*Edit*
Found to work

Hope that helps,
Manwe
