No search (neither the "Advanced Search" nor the "Find Topics" and "Find Posts" buttons on a person's profile page) seems to be able to find topics or posts made before the latest forum board software update... :( Any chance that will ever be fixed?

"Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart-arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!"

Are you sure? The Find Topics link from the profile page gave me the same result as you, but doing an advanced search for post author returned all corresponding posts.

That did work. I tried searching for a specific topic title of a topic from before the update, and it was not found.

I tried searching for a specific topic title of a topic from before the update, and it was not found.

The search function doesn't work for me at all. For example, I wanted to find the posts where we talked about abishais in Infinity Animations. So I went to advanced search, typed 'abishai' under Find Words and selected IA as the forum. Got nothing. The same word in simple Search returns nothing as well. An equivalent search using a search engine with shsforums.net as the domain returns several posts in various subforums. So I don't think it's quite 'fixed'.

Infinity Engine Contributions
Aurora * BG1 NPC * BG1 Fixpack * Haiass * Infinity Animations * Level 1 NPCs * P5Tweaks
PnP Free Action * Thrown Hammers * Unique Containers * BG:EE * BGII:EE * IWD:EE

Player & Modder Resources
BAM Batcher * Creature Lister * Creature Checker * Creature Fixer * Tutu/BGT Area Map & List * Tutu Mod List

Basic functionality is definitely there. When we update the forum software SConrad is going to look into it further.

We're not dealing with a small database here, and it's a somewhat complex issue. So please, just hang tight.
