As the topic goes

feel free to review on the Kit.

You don't have to have played it all the way to ToB to comment, just post what level you're at, how long you've been using the Conductor and how useful / useless he is

Haer'Dalis included.

Plus of course, if you give up using the Kit in the middle just cuz, well, you know, got fed up or felt too munchkin powerful.

Did anyone ever try out the Final HLA of the Conductor? It basically casts an AoE Chain Lightning, in other words every enemy within a 30' radius is struck by a Chain Lightning. So yes, that means if there's 10 opponents, there's 10 Chain Lightnings being cast and bouncing around amongst the enemies (left alive)

It should be accessible somewhere around level 28.

I've tried it and it's great

Mainly because of its roleplay value and different tactics (due to slower movement rate while singing). I've been looking for such kit for a veery long time, as I wanted an aura that is strikening deadly plus that ominous jack-of-all-trades style of bards. Well, Conductor does it all

I'm basically in the middle of SoA, so it's too early for an in-depth review, but so far it's a nice experience

One minor concern: despite having 1 attack per round and pitfull thaco, my condustor seems to hit nearly twice as much with her dart than a mage (with comparable lvls). I don't know if its just my delusion or some hidden bonuses I'm not aware of, though ;P

I didn't know anyone would enjoy it, since it was a quiet little mod and hardly any reviews ever came in. This really made my day, thank you!

There's no bonus granted to the Conductor whatsoever. In fact I don't think they have any Proficiency in Darts... That said, the Bard should have a higher base Thac0 than a Mage. They follow the Rogues' Thac0 progression, I believe... but I could be wrong, not on my BG2 Comp now.

Any more you'd like to see with the Conductor? I personally feel it is pretty complete as it is, except for some minor bugs here and there... any you encountered yet?
