I believe it to be individual tile issue or a problem with the TIS. No idea how to fix this is it is installing properly.

That's likely the case. I hope someone else will chime in, but I won't hold my breath. I'm beginning to wonder if Macifying this mod is beyond my ability...but I don't want to abandon it! (Also, I keep forgetting that you're not the author, Hoppy).

When I did the manual unpacking, I got no error messages, so maybe some kind soul can send (or enable me to download) a copy of the individual file that's known to work properly, and I can just drop it where appropriate prior to a new install.

Thanks,
Eric

Of course those files that work would have to be from the same OS I assume. Why don't you look at the Amber mod and what it does for the Mac? It adds new areas and voices so similar things as the mods you are trying to convert. It just doesn't add so many areas to require biffing but it may be start. Do that ASAP and then we can work with the Biffing garbage later.

Unfortunately the authors of TDD and Soubar are not available and I offer my time for support and minor updating, bug fixing and the like. It is my thinking that these mods would and should probably have a separate archive for Mac installs...when it happens.

You may try asking Miloch, the bigg and speak maybe more with Devsin as they may have more knowledge of the different procedures to follow in converting. It is to the point where I feel like I am spamming since I don't have an inkling as to what is needed or even fix the problem with some hot fix mass file upload from a Vista system and expect it to work on a Mac.

I follow, and I'll cast about among the fine folks you mentioned for further guidance, before throwing in the towel on this. Though I can live without TDD and SoS, I'd really like to be able to play these mods! Almost makes me wish I had a Windows system handy...almost ;)

You've been a great help, Hoppy. Thanks!

As of now, I give up working on TDD and SoS, at least for the time being. It's disappointing, as I had a measure of success, but then some technical aspects that are beyond my ability brought me to my knees, and there's no help in sight. On to more productive things...

Thanks,
Eric
