A quick question: does he have voicing? I found it odd that I clicked him a few times and no sound came out, but the subtitles are there. Probably a bug with my game, rather than the mod. Any insights on how to solve this?

Unfortunately he doesn't have voicing, so not a bug.

Well, that's a relief of sorts. I don't really mind the lack of voicing anyway.

Still, I think there's a problem with my game, because the 'Default' soundset isn't playing. It plays during character creation, but not in-game (for whatever reason), so I though it might be a related issue. I guess I'll just assign one of the BG1-imported soundsets for Arath =P

Hey, I've run into a bug with Arath. It triggers immediately after his convo that begins 'I'm not...I don't know if I want a forever after.' After that, he won't move more than a few steps at a time! I can't even move him using ctrl-j. And Jaheira does the same thing, sometimes. I've used different save games and tried getting rid of Jaheira incase its a romance clash (though I have multiple romances installed) but nothing works and it is unplayable as I can't move him anywhere. I'm on EE on a Mac. Any help would be much appreciated - thanks!

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place.... but I think my relationship might have stalled? Our last talk was the one where he tries to make small talk and then at the end he says he is going to pretend to be busy. Quite some time has passed and we've been in and out of the city as well as rested in several inns and in the woods and still nothing.... Can I fix it? Is it broken?

Hey Kaeloree, I think I have the same problem as the Guest above. I played Arath a while back and LOVED him, but after the "I like you, I just don't know what that means" talk I can't seem to get any progress with him. I stopped playing for a while, but I REALLY want to finish his story, so I started a new game... and I've had the same thing happen. I believe I'm on Lovetalk 25. Do I need to move past a game event at this point, or have I messed something up? Are you still available for checking out savegames?

Am playing through ToB right now and I just reached the Gorion Wraith encounter. Arath is my LI, yet the Wraith doesn't acknowledge him at all - is content supposed to be there, or is this intended behaviour?

Turns out I definitely have a bug, since the entire romance seems to be on hold. (speeding realtime through the console does nothing)
 
 
I did a little investigating and the problem seems related to another weird issue I noticed earlier (see pic):
 
 

Apparently the game doesn't recognize that Arath is in my party. I tried summoning another Arath from the Fate Spirit (thus gaining a clone in my party... creepy, but the possibilities...) and the romance suddenly started to progress again. Went to see the Wraith at the temple and Arath's mother appeared.

Any idea how to fix this?

Sorry for the multiple posting (and awkward English), it's me again.

Trying to solve my problem, I downloaded EE keeper and tinkered with my saves a bit. It seems that my problems actually come from the LK#ARATHROMANCEACTIVE global variable being set to 1 instead of 2.

I went waaaay back in my BG2 saves and figured out the root of my problems. In one of the romance dialogs, after he apologizes for "dumping" you, you have a choice between saying it's over or taking him back. This should affect the above variable accordingly, but in the case of the particular dialog choice I picked (the one where you call him an ass) it remained unchanged. This is clearly incorrect, since I got all the subsequent SoA romance dialogs, and the relationship is supposed to be alive and well and pretty serious.

Incidentally, this also caused Arath's abduction by Bodhi to never trigger... so now I've been replaying this game back from after the Underdark. Kind of a bummer, but the mod is worth it.

So this "inn dinner bug" still not fixed? :/ I lost my desire to play this mod cause of this. Any tips? i rest in every inn but nothing after "dinner dialogue" Romance active is 1, global is 7, i used few times (99999) code to get talk faster, but it broke romance? *disappointed* >.<

*one week later* no answer at all, great. I give chance again this mod, waiting like 6-7h without cods for talks, and again..no Inn talk >.< gezzz Kaeloree woke up and just gimme simple cod for this one talk, is not possible to get it in normal way >.<

"Jahera, you look radiant." and then nothing. The conversation ends there.  :-)

Arath started talking to me in the Spellhold tests area about how it feels (not to have a soul), but after I answered him he proceeded with the "smalltalk, I really like you" conversation that we'd already had before.

Will this affect the rest of the romance?

I'm having trouble in TOB the music for dialogue is launching but not the actual dialogue just the dialogue in the little box standard command talk yeah etc n not the actual talk

If you ever plan to make some cleaning up (during compatibility check, may be?) there are few minor issues:

1. Error -  First banter with Imoen: When [FemCHARNAME] said we were rescuing his foster sister, I had no idea she would be quite so fetching.

Never mind the rest - it can be installation problems.
