GUI Improvement causes graphical glitches

I am running 1pp on a full install of SoA + ToB, with the widescreen mod running at 1280X720. When I install the 1pp component for the improved GUI, including the different font style, I open the game and there is a giant, ugly, black bar, running down the main menu screens, shortly to the left of the center of the screen. And when I started a new game, the black bar disappeared, but the graphics got all glitchy during the opening dialogue with Imoen, and the "continue" button disappeared during this and prevented me from proceeding in the dialogue-- I had to ctrl-alt-del my way out of the game. I know it is the GUI component that is causing is, because I uninstalled only that component and everything was back to normal. I already tried re-installing the widescreen mod, to no avail, and removing all 1pp components and then re-installing, but that also didn't work.

It's a small thing, but I really do like the font changes of the improved GUI and would like to be able to use the component if I can get it working... thanks for any help.

Without knowing or even testing the new mod, I would suggest to uninstall the Widescreen mod, then install the 1pps GUI and then install the Widescreen mod. For reference...

Open up the Weidu.log, and you'll know what mods are currently installed... I would like to know why it didn't work the other way around ?

guy, im having a problem, when i use the quick menu , i cant pass forward trhough the other circles of magic, the arrow its not working !! any ideas ??
