Hello,

I successfully completed a customized mega mod installation of Baldur's Gate (BGT etc). It took days to complete with 100+ mods :).

I installed the game on my notebook but as you know simply copying the installation directory won't make the game run on another PC. But in case something happens to my notebook or my hard drive I want to take the image of my installation directory to run it on other PCs without being forced to reinstall.

Normally when I copy the installation directory to another PC Baldur's Gate gives me a chitin.key (sp?) error. "An assertion failed at the line x" or something like that... Tobex also gives me errors. How can make an image of the fully installed game directory?

Thanks in advance

Sure it runs. Edit [Alias] in Baldur.ini and start with BGMain.exe...
THINK! - It's not illegal.

Technically you can't as an image as the game folder also contains the save folders etc... but what's said above helps you to make the game playable at any computer. The more particular info is in the pinned MMFAQ... post 8.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.
