Aaabsolutely loving the mod so far. Arath is adorable. But! He seems to be teasing me. He asked me if I wanted to do him (lovetalk 6) and I was like pff hellz yes are you kidding? I trotted over to an inn, rested. Nothin. Another couple rests, another couple inns. No conversation! My lovetalk's sittin at seven, unmoving. I switched it back to 6, got the invitation again, said yes again, and again, no conversation followed innrest. Am I missin something? I don't just wanna skip ahead! He's too great to miss anything.

Throwin in my save folder, just in case it helps!

Workaround workarounded, didn't seem to miss much/anything but just bumping the lovetalk up one. ...this isn't one of those slutshamey romances that ends before it starts if you sleep with the target early, is it? Tell me it ain't.

Did you try resting outdoors?  There was one that seemed like it'd require being outdoors, and it was a surprising one.

I think I did! The text when I set the lovetalk forward made it pretty clear that we were meant to be in an inn.

It looks like you just needed to pass some time. Lovetalks are generally based on real time, and Arath includes a special extra timer to ensure talks don't trigger too closely together as well.

You can skip the timer by putting this into the CLUAConsole:

CLUAConsole: AdvanceRealTime(9999999)

As for slut-shamey... you tell me ;)

It wasn't! I'm just concluding the SoA portion and I adored every minute. I might write up a more detailed review when I've finished ToB. I think if I ever write an NPC, though, I'll include some inventory item called Advice Mallard or something who checks how many talks have currently been completed for the current chapter versus how many there are and what's necessary to advance the next step, so as to avoid what do I dooo moments/accidentally progressing through the plot too quickly and missin out. Use Advice Mallard: "You and Arath are doing great! Don't go confront Bodhi until you've had a few more conversations, though! Maybe you should try sleeping outdoors! If you hang out in the Underdark a while longer, Arath will probably have something more to say about caverns!" or somethin.

And godDAMN I wish I'd known about advancerealtime! Still, I learned a little about how the timers work, so that was cool.

Yeah, I've considered doing something like that, but it's a lot of work simply because usually there's a lot to check. :) I'd love to read a review and hear your thoughts when you're finished, good and bad!
