Hello everybody!

After some time away, I am going to play BG2. Again.

Because I am addicted.

So, I wanted to try Dace. But since she is romanceable, as far as I see, quite late in the game, is it possible to aherm, romance both her and another NPC? <.<'''

Sorry, but to do one playthrough for one romance... Is a bit boring after the umptenth time.

Many thanks to all who makes those wonderful mods!

PS: a question with nothing to do with Dace: I know it is possible to write before and then code for a NPC mod, but is it advisable?

It's advisable to learn basic .d coding, and code all dialogue in .d - and then learn the rest of the coding. But only if you show your dialogues on the forum first to check that your syntax is correct.

You can romance Dace and another *mod* NPC(not Viconia or Anomen), and you'll be fine, since most other mods don't check for Dace. (I hope Dace doesn't, too - these conflicts are usually left in Crossmod Banter Pack, Romance Conflicts component. Don't install it and multiromance as you like).

They shouldn't multiromance with Bioware NPCs(no Isra and Aerie), but Xan or Kelsey or Dace? Of course you can multiromance with them.

So I can romance Isra and Chloe alongside Dace, but if I try the aforementioned two and Aerie, then Dace won't be eligible for romance? !"#$%&/()=?*

Chloe only romances female PCs, while Aerie is attracted to guys, so you'd need a separate mod just to romance them both. ;) But yes, romancing Aerie (or Jaheira, Anomen, or Viconia) will stop all mod romances; or if you progress in a mod romance far enough, Aerie (or Jaheira, Anomen, or Viconia) will break up with you. There are a few exceptions out there - Solaufein is perfectly willing to share your attention with someone else - but those are few and far in between. Actually, Sola is the only one I can think of...

If you want to get the most out of multiple NPC mods, consider friendship tracks, and also mod NPCs that romance Bioware NPCs - Chloe with Imoen, for example, or Auren Aseph with Nalia. There's also Amber, who can romance a male character in the player 2 slot (as long as you create that player 2 in a multiplayer game). Look at all the options available, and have fun!

Well, I do have the BG2 tweaks mod, so I can romance Aerie, Jaheira and Viconia at the same time with my elven sorceress. Problem is, I have the No Breakup option active, which essentially means that I can't even begin a romance with Dace, since I absolutely REFUSE not taking Aerie. So I trust that you can see my dilemma. And there are no mod NPCs that are Cleric/Mages. And I won't make my elf as C/M because Semi Multi Cleric mod makes Sorceress the best healing class, even better than Cleric. And even if I do make an elven C/M or C (however stupid that may be), having another is only a boon rather than having only one.
