EDIT: I see I messed up the topic title, my apologies, that's what happens what I can't think straight because of frustration.

It's meant to say: I don't understand why BG1's paper dolls is so hated

I don't understand at all. Why must I have the BG2 look of everything when installing the BGT when doing the Big world setup? I honestly do not like this push into a direction that I feel that BG1, and BG2 should be separate in graphics or else it just ruins the experience somewhat.

Now I've seen somewhere that BGTuTu GUI is compatible with BGT to get the old stone look back, but what about the paper dolls as well?

Aside from that when I do reach BG2 segment part of the story how would I revert them back to their BG2-selves without a complicated mess because of potential problems from Mods/tweaks/fixpacks/etc you name it?

I'm sorry if I sound bitter, but today I was trying to find someway to manipulate BGT to NOT change BG1 in anyway until I give the say so. If it's just not possible, I'm willing to forget about it and just get the GUI restored for BG1. Call a me purist in the sense, but BG1's old look is for my nostalgia which is I'm willing to admit. Also there another concern of mine about a component in BGT that changes the music around, I don't HAVE to install this do I? BGT to me is starting to be really unfriendly, and I might just go full purist, and just get mods that don't depend on BGT even if it means I'm going to miss out on some things.

Just a follow-up of my original message, I want to ask this because I decided I'm not going to use BGT as I've always had problems with it. Is it possible to run Big world Project on mods that do not depend on BGT, and BG-Tutu, and will it still be able to sort it out properly?

BUT I would use BGT on one condition, if the crappy coding for the BGT-Music is fixed (because last time I played BGT the music was not playing at certain times because you had to sacrifice one or the other if I remember correctly in the components). If that is still there then I'm not going to bother with BGT in the end. I don't mean to be rude when I say crappy coding, but it's just awful you have to foregone something to let it play BG1 only or BG2, but not all of it meaning you have to somehow switch it around and end up screwing your installation order by even touching it, and the hybrid just ruins things.

EDIT:

I've learned if you use TobEX, that it solves the music issue with BGT. Should I download that? I was one the victims of BGT in the past when it came to the music disappearing, and whatnot.

BGTutu GUI ... paperdolls...
The GUI is Graphical User Interface, the paper dolls are item and inventory art. Totally different things. BGT just brings the BG1 adventure to the BG2's engine, nothing again to do with the art style.
The 1PP has some parts of the old BG1 to BG2, but not a lots, and the Infinity Animations has some of it, but the one thing that you severely do not understand is the fact that if you play the game in the BG2 engine, you need to use the BG2 animations or the game will crash the first second you put a second weapon on your hands. Especially if you install the BG1 animations in Infinity Animations and change your player characters avatar and then play a game with it.

Now if you wish to play the BG1 as is, with what ever mods you choose you can, but you won't have the advantages the BG2 engine brings you, and you have to of course make your BG2 game install separate...

Yes, you just put a "-" marker, without the quotes to the BG1 path, and the installer knows from that that you don't intent to install the BGT(-weidu).

Well dah, yes, the BGT's Music actually works only with the ToBEx in it and it should come with one attached, but to get the latest version you should of course install the official ToBEx just like the BWS sets you to involuntary to do.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.
