Is Chloe's kit different than the kensai kit already included in BG2?

Yes, the kit had to be made unique so that Chloe wouldn't be able to be dual classed.
Even the code has this:

But except dual classing does her kit offers any other abilities/powers different than the standard kensai kit or it is just a normal kensai kit with no dual classing option?

No, it's the very epitome of the standard vanilla BG2 kensai kit. And if you edit the kensai kit with a mod, it won't affect the kit Chloe uses as they then use different ability tables. Chloe uses the file called "yrkensai.2da" that's in the mod files and gets copied over, while the vanilla kensai uses normally the "clabfi04.2da" -one.
