Hi. I installed the mod and I really liked it, but I would like to play it in low resolution, but in widescreen, and I tried 856x480 and 1064x600. In the 480p the dialog box is so big that it fills more than half of the screen. In 600p it is acceptable, but I would prefer a smaller size. I tried to mess in the install settings trying to lower the size but the result was glitchy.

I want those resolutions for immersion. I think this game is not only great for it's story, but also for the art style, and in higher resolutions you loose a bit of this.

Is there a way for I install it with the small dialog? I could install the 2.0 release, but it lacks some fixes of latter releases. Or could you make a version with configurable dialog height? Thanks.

In the original game, in 640x480 the dialog box also took almost half of the screen. Indeed in 856x480 it's a little higher than that, but unless something major happens, I won't be updating this mod again.

The mod can accept any custom resolution, so if you add a custom widescreen resolution slightly higher than 856x480 --either through your GPU's panel or by editing the registry-- maybe you'll get what you want.

Yes, custom is possible but the monitor MUST support them otherwise he/others can damage the monitor. :/

Btw ghostdog, regarding updates aqrit posted some here plus Planescape/other games need support for 3K, 4K, 5K and 8K resolutions aside probably bigger fonts too, just saying. ;)

Hmm? Unless you have a CRT or some very early LCD, I don't think it's possible to damage your monitor with custom resolutions.

As for updates for higher resolutions, I'll wait for 32K first. That way I'll be able to paste all areas into a single one, so you wont have to scroll or do area transitions. Binoculars will be included in the boxed version :D

You would ... yep, you are correct, the VR headset comes with it, but the question is, who's ? :P
Now, one just has to prepare to look stupid while playingTM.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Hi. Thanks for the replies. Yes, I am able to play in those resolutions I mentioned. I only have to add customs resolutions to my display configuration. I decided to play with the 2.0.7 that I found on another post here. Because the links to older versions on this site are broken. :(
