Guess my download wasn't corrupted though I'm surprised if it was due to me not having the latest version as I got the one from April(supposedly the newest).

 

Had a newer version came lately and where I might download it?

It is also the link you find on the mod download page (but not the green button that leads to the defunkt Spellhound file function) but the red download label. Also BWS should always point automatically to the latest version.

 

The mod was last updated on May 4th after some discussion with the original mod author. It now has some more ToB contents.

And slightly off topic: Is there a new version of Sandrah coming in the future or is the current version considered the "final one"?

 

I check every week for updates regarding it so I would be sad if its development was over.

 

And if its coming then what new content for it are you planning?

At this moment it is in *refinement*, means I do a large EET playthrough with her and fix minor bugs/dialogue grammar, spelling. Sometimes I add some additional dialogue options and other minor things. The advantage of having the mod on github is that you always get the latest version if you just download it prior installation.

 

Development is an ongoing thing with Sandrah.

- I add new crossmod for new mods that come out and are interesting me

- I have a longer term plan of adding contents for some NPCs who can join again after ToB in the SandrahRtF sequel (at the moment they can join but without special content for the new chapters, only the new generation NPCs have content.)

- In case IWD-in-EET may still come, there will be a large addition for Sandrah.

I certainly look forward for extra content aimed for new gen NPCs. Like romance(with an epilogue) for Leyala and Izzy or even some male NPCS like Giran(though I do not play with female PCs often). Some quests expanding their personalities and backgrounds further would be great too.

Can anyone tell me what triggers chloes chapter 3 quest(apparently there are 2, one in chapter 6?). I have been to the docks and had it trigger after i was to brynlaw and it seemed to be bugged as the quest wouldnt end and she would leave the party. so i reloaded an old save but now when i go to the docs the 2 thugs arent there. any help? thanks

The two thugs spawn randomly in either the docks, bridge, promenade or slums. After Underdark and depending on whether Imoen is with you or not. It does not happen, if Chloe is angry with you.

Option 1)

Imoen is with you

You can also check that this is met

C:GetGlobal("ChLovetalksCR","GLOBAL") >> must be 11

C:GetGlobal("ChloeRomanceActiveCR","GLOBAL") >> must be 1

 

Option 2)

Imoen is not with you

C:GetGlobal("SlavQRC","Global") >> this is at 1

C:GetGlobal("MatronJob","GLOBAL") >> this is not 0 (does exist)

 

PS - option 2 only exists in the EET version, it was added to the original mod for the new game. Plain BG2EE only has the original mod's contents, which requires Imoen to be with Chloe. So in that version, the quests depend on the romance with Chloe as well. For the EET, I made this more open to any player.

ok, thanks very much. The issue i had was i teleported off of brynlaw before going with saemon to go see cromwell, the thugs appeared and when i had to sleep in the bridge district at the five flagons the quest wouldnt change and chloe would leave. so maybe that is because i did it to soon(before underdark) and confused the game? this was helpful thanks

so, i have progressed all the way through the underdark and had the thugs appear naturally and my chloe is still wanting to leave after her stay in the inn and our conversation. she just keeps saying she has to go to an inn and rest even though we have done it, then eventually leaves the party. any ideas?

Try this

After she asks you to go to the inn check those globals

C:GetGlobal("YetAnotherNoLooperCR","LOCALS")

C:GetGlobal("FeelingSickLikeHellCR","LOCALS")

Your mouse must be over Chloe's portrait when you hit enter (because of LOCALS). Both should be 1.

 

If not

C:SetGlobal("YetAnotherNoLooperCR","LOCALS",1)

C;SetGlobal("FeelingSickLikeHellCR","LOCALS",1)

Again with mouse over Chloe.

 

PS - If you still have problems, it may be best to post a savegame of the situation.

You go to youruserid/documents/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition Trilogy/save where you find a number of folders named just like your saved games. You take one that you think fits to the situation and zip/rar/7-zip the whole folder.

Either attach the zip file to a post on this forum (may be cannot if you are not logged in) or load it to e.g. dropbox or whatever you use and put the link here.

It works for me.

Actually one of the new dialogues fires when we go to the inn to rest.

 

Global("SlavQRC","Global",9)

 

~(Chloe sits by the fireside alone, gazing into the flames and obviously still moved by the recent events.)~

 

You have options to ignore or comfort her and she will stay with you.

 

For this to happen, you need the optional component

Chloe EET (Extended contents - ATTENTION ONLY ENGLISH)

to be installed.

 

If you do not have that, the original mod's ending will fire, which in most cases makes Chloe leave if neither PC romance nor Imoen romance are intact.

 

If you do NOT have the additional content installed, do this

C:SetGlobal("SlavQRC","Global",11)

before you rest at an inn.

ok thanks thats great. Do you know why i dont have the "Chloe EET (Extended contents - ATTENTION ONLY ENGLISH)"? Would it be possibe to add it, or not possible with a game in progress? Also does doing this C:SetGlobal("SlavQRC","Global",11) command change anything for later game play? Thanks very much for your help :)

My problem is after that dialogue she still acts like we never did that and ultimately leaves. is there a way to command the romance stuff for her as an alternative solution?

Something is strange here - actually setting the global to 11 should not trigger any dialogue but indicate that you are passed it?

 

I would suggest that you install that second component, in this particular case there is no problem to just add it to the game. Just run setup-Chloe.exe and do NOT change anything that is already installed but only install the missing part.

If you start from the save you posted and go to rest at the Five Flagons you should then get the dialogue I quoted above.

With that, all the remaining SoA and ToB contents should trigger.

 

And - by the way - I think you may have found an issue, not really a bug but a *bad packaging*, because there seems to be a condition where a global is set that is used in the extended mod even when you do not have the extension installed.

ok, so how do i know what to replace in my chloe mod folder? how do i know what is the "missing parts"? could i just replace the folder as a whole with the newly downloaded one? if no, could you please elaborate on which new parts i should add from the new download? thanks so much :)

We seem to misunderstand each other.

Do this:

- open the file weidu.log in your BG2EE game folder (any text editor will do)

- see if you find this entry ~CHLOE/CHLOE.TP2~ #0 #1 // Chloe EET (Extended contents - ATTENTION ONLY ENGLISH): v1.6 EE

 

Further actions depend on whether it is there or not.

This is odd.

When I load your game I get the right dialogue, but you do not...

we have the same install for the mod.

So what is wrong?

 

I will look at your save again for what I may have missed.
