No other place to do this. Looking for people's estimates on how long, in game days, it generally takes them to get to some plot points in the first BG game. Two weeks? Three weeks? Months? I need this info to set approximate to-target times for a Chronomancy spell that's tied to the timeline.

I'm especially interested in how long it takes you to:

1) Gather the money for the Army Scythe/Shadow Thief Armor/Dagger of Venom, if you buy them;

2) Go through Durlag's Tower;

3) Finish Cloakwood;

4) Reach the showdown with the assassins in the Undercellar, before the meeting in the Ducal Palace.

I know it will be different for everyone, but I'd like to get a general idea. Responses appreciated.

I'll ask it point-blank: would it be realistic, for the player would it be feasible, if he, for some reason, had to get through BG1 and TOTSC to the Ducal Palace in a month of game time? Or would a player have to rush and skip quests?

No, the way back from the wolf island takes 2 weeks. I have played a 100+ day BG1's, and it wasn't even tactical... there's a lot of fetch quests in the game and those take murderous amounts of time ... as you go into and out of places.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

You mean, 2 weeks of auto-time? Okay, that's good to know. Doesn't disrupt anything, just let players beware before they set out on a journey to some distant land. An extra warning for the description. Thanks.
