Hello all. I feel like I am posting issues way too much here. I am trying to deal with things on my own and I actually manage most of the time. This one is something I have never ran  into before. All items in TDD are not droppable. I have read NI can fix this and I am fiddling with it to see if I can figure out how to work it, but I wanted to see if there is a solution that is more straight forwards. Like using ee keeper or something more my level first. Any help would be great

Thanks

You probably installed a mod that changed all the itrems into this... so don't install the "balance mod". The reason for the "balancing" is that you normally would get some of the dublicated from the nonTDD content, and then there's the OP items, spells etc that are removed because they are just that, OVER POWERED !

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Not to worry, this IS place for questions :)
All items in TDD are not droppable.
Like, ALL all items? Even mundane/quest/not-owerpowered? Then this should not be the doing of a balancer of any kind. Not sure what causes it though.

In the other post yesterday you said you use bg2ee?

Did you use the TDDz to install TDD? You would just download and extract TDD without installing and afterwards download and extract TDDz. Then you use the TDDz setup to install the mod.

I am using the ee tool so its doing the install for me. As for the items its only the TDD specific ones like giants grace for instance, or any weapon found in trollford. As for TDDZ I selected it...here is my logs. Mega mods are hit and miss for me and I am tired of reinstalls. I got to learn to fix this damn it!!!.

What you report seems to be intended to make the mod more balanced for EET.

This is stated in TDDz readme:

. In TDDz, there is a folder for each component, edit ItemsContract.2da, change its UNDROPPABLE column ("+" means no change; "." make it undroppable, i.e. CRE keep the item but in STO, ARE, BAF, any others, it is replaced by SCRL75.itm-Identify Scroll). Avoid to modifiy "++++++++" value than means they should stay unchanged (ex: Espurta map)

Creatures don't drop overpowered items but drop plot items. You may be able to change this if you modify those 2da files prior installation or you accept the makers intention. Otherwise you need to edit the cre files but before you enter the area where they are. That would be cumbersome but possible. You can just cheat in the items after all with console.

I really only use one item and that's Giants Grace to get the robes in the trollford dungeon. Its just annoying finding a weapon and it gets stuck in my inventory. I used ee keeper and it wiped mod spells and items I was using so I hate to use it again to get rid of all the un removable items  I have in my inventory. I forgot to mention that I have a few items that I cant sell or remove now.

There's a droppable flag missing in GIANTGRC.itm. If you open it with Near Infinity you just need to tick the droppable, save it and you can do that right in the game. I don't know about EE-Keeper, it's nothing I ever would use. But it may have a similar function to edit an itm file.

I don't know how to use near infinity so I may just have to reinstall again.

If you put this file into BG2EE/override, it should work. But you will get odd item name and description I guess.

If you reinstall with (almost) any changes to mod and component selection or install order, then your old saves are useless. If you plan to install with no changes at all it will work, but what is the benefit? :)
