I am running a BG Trilogy Runthrough - solo Sorc (if that matters).  I have played all the way through BG1 and am at the final fight where I kill Sarevok.  I have done so many times now and each time, he gasps, dies and that is all.  No Cut-scene, no exiting the room, etc.  I am simply stuck with Sarevok dead at my feet...   Any help/recommendations as to how to move forward?

thanks kindly.

You exit the temple, the thieves stronghold and go back to Belt, the dude that's handling the whole city now, at the Palace of the Baldur's Gate where you first ran into Sarevok, trying to kill Belt, and talk to him... he should give you the opportunity to go to the TotSC adventures or leave to Amn, if you reject his offer for more adventures.
This is how it was in the way original .... That should end you up in the Three Keggs Inn resting there a night and then when you return back to him, he sends your party to Amn via a cutscene. But if memory doesn't fail, the final night at the town is no longer required. But you will have to talk to Belt still to start the cutscene.

OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Indeed, I would do so if I could.  I am stuck in the room where you battle Sarevok and his buddies.  Even after he dies, there is no door by which I can exit the room.. I have moused all over where the door should be to no avail....

Oh sorry, just noticed your previous question! Use [s.poiler] and [/s.poiler] tags (without dots of course) :)

So, with the Weidu posted, any thoughts as to how I might get out of the room in which I am stuck with the dead Sarevok?

Push the x key to find out the area name... and then, you might want to use the console and...

C:MoveToArea("BG0700")

And you are by the by talking about the Enhanced Edition Trilogy, not just BG Trilogy, aka BGT(-weidu). Which is why I told about the above stuff. The EET is likely much a different beast.

I moved out of the area.  I went into the Castle and talked to Belt.  The reply is "Belt: has nothing to say to you."

Open the game with the EEKeeper, and check what the chapter constant/variable in the save game is ? There's a few things that can interfer with this.
