The only thing i'd like a 'don't care' option on would be Pop Idol, then when everyone chooses it they'd have to ban the damn thing.

a simple 'shut up and die' option would work just as well for me
This is my depressed stance. When you're depressed, it makes a lot of difference how you stand. The worst thing you can do is straighten up and hold your head high because then you'll start to feel better. If you're going to get any joy out of being depressed, you've got to stand like this.

and us british happen to not care about many things, so without a 'don't care' choice it takes all the fun out of things

I am British. The only thing i'd like a 'don't care' option on would be Pop Idol, then when everyone chooses it they'd have to ban the damn thing. :D

Extend that to all "reality TV" series in general, and I'm with you 100%! :)

Gee, and I got attacked for a charater design with a high stats. Does she really need a 15 int?

I guess I'm still not getting the overall sense of theme and story with this.

romance/loads of dialogue is what I play npc's for.. who needs another thug? :P

One problem.. constitution is supposed to be a ranger's primary stat. Did I miss something (once again)?

the roll is just as large as any other npc and the inteligence is for her character and doesnt really involve her abilities

as an archer she mostly has a high dex, but as i said, advice is welcome. give a sound reason why she should have a higher con and i will consider it :)

Hmm. I would say the most sound reason for anything would be so that she had the ability to ..endure all the hunting she would have to do.

But with that high dexterity, she would do well enough.. yes. B)

uh.. other than "it's the rangers primary stat" there isn't. Did this change for 3e?

don't forget that average is 10-12. (er, right?) At 15 she's highly intelligent. ..and why is she so strong? (other than for a certain type of bow) I'd swap INT or WIS with CON :)

^ well, I'm not a big rule freak, or anything, I was just curious (and, as an aside, I don't think bg2 NPC's should conform to 3e as it's a 2e game :) )

No, give her a LOOOOt of dialogue about the tenth planet, if you wish, about everything under the sky, but no smooching while I am plotting to take over the world. :P

@Sharess: i do belive you are right

i know your not one for spam jester, so dont start now. theres plenty of dialogue that doesnt include romance and if your good i may inclue a plot for your world domination as you put it (for some reason everything has stoped making sense)

@kirkjobsluder: no worries, i wasnt complaining. just if you think the stats are too high then give a sound reason why and i will consider it, though they have already been diminished.

Okay, I voted don't care. Not that I don't think it's a good idea but I think that if someone wants create a mod they should do it and the "blathering masses" really shouldn't dictate to someone they weather or not they should or shouldn't.

Does that make sence?

Only start making a mod if you are perfectly content to be the only person who plays it. Then you will neither be dissappointed w 50 downloads in three weeks (happened before), nor abandon it after you get 0 posts on your forum/thread for two weeks (happens all the time).

And writing it should be fun. Ok, occasionally writing stuff like interjections isn't fun, but for the most part if shouldn't feel like work.
