#19 Challenge:
Branwen Statue
Deadline: Friday,19th October
Post your piece in this topic!

This time I was sneaky! So sneaky that I didn't even make up the challenge subject - it was actually Sir Kalthorine! It's time for another NPC challenge, but this time there's a catch. You must draw our brave priestess Branwen - but as a statue. Notice that all "living" Branwens will not be counted to the stats! Make a fine painting of her as a stone statue, or illustrate the scene where your party sees the statue at the Nashkel Carnival. Hey, you could even sculpt the statue of clay or what ever if you want! Be creative and have fun!

You've got two weeks, and remember - Branwen must appear as a statue in your piece!

Hm, I doubt I will be able to recruit any of my friends into getting painted in gray color so I could take a photo of her  <_< Hm, will have to draw something
Heck no, b - I used the word the way I use things like "twitter", and "iPod" - my first inclination is to ask "what birdcall are you studying?" and I think of "I pod, You (singular) pod, He pods, She pods, They pod, You (plural) pod, We pod..."

 Great as ever vilkacis.
Sadly that reminds me of one run through BG1 (BGtutu format) that when I entered the carnival for the first time, her statue was dead! :crying:

Every time I come back, still dead although the remains still were there, as was that con artist... You don't want to know his fate.

Anyways, like the cross face in particular, that'll give a bit of forewarning for the Bhaalspawn PC to watch out for. :D

I know what I am going to do for this!
Steel is my body, fire is my blood.
I've created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death.
Nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to create many weapons.
Yet, those hands will never hold anything.
So as i pray, "Unlimited Blade Works."--Archer from Fate/Stay Night

Nefertit: you don't need them painted grey, you can use photoshop MAGIC. :P

There are several reasons why I can't use it:
- I don't even have Photoshop <_<
- even if I would have it, I don't know how to use it

Now I wonder - where are my tempera paints?
Heck no, b - I used the word the way I use things like "twitter", and "iPod" - my first inclination is to ask "what birdcall are you studying?" and I think of "I pod, You (singular) pod, He pods, She pods, They pod, You (plural) pod, We pod..."

Hilarious as always, Vilk.
"Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Poor Branwen....cursed by a spell that Tranzig couldn't even hope to cast at his level. How's that for bad luck. Branwen is a delicate Valkurian cleric! And I'm a lazy artist when it comes to stone.

Yeah, I'm pleased I'm not the only lazy one here :whistling: Nice pic, Iron :)

And since I still don't have any photos, I tried to do something in PhotoFiltre:

And if I didn't eliminate Tranzing so often, I probably would take that advice.

Like the fizzly hair Neferit. :)

And that looks good as well IronOx, and besides Branwen was petrified not made as stone, I guess there's a difference to speak of. One is crafted the other is plenty life like due to the fact it is life.

Hm, better get back on my entry then, closing date is fast approaching.

It's been a couple thousand years or so and no one bothered to help Branwen. She remains petrified, now forgotten in some modern-day back alley. Poor poor Branwen :crying: (cry for her, dammit! :) )...

No justice...

Looks nice Galsic, tho I'm very interested in firstly, the grafetti, and secondly... just what the hell was she wearing, exactly when Tranzing petrified her?

Not mind you that I'm complaining
But yeah, doesn't look like the sort of outfit you'd expect from a priestess of Tempus... but then again, its more about battle than appearance I guess. *shrugs*

Edit: Yeah, I was expecting armor, not casual wear. :D
