#35 Challenge: Jealousy

We have had explored love and hate, but what about the mix of the two - Jealousy? I give you free hands about the subject of jealousy - whether it is Imoen secretely being bitter about her sibling getting all the attention, or maybe it is Jaheira being jealous that the young Bhaalspawn hunk would rather lock lips with the innocent and beautiful Aerie than her. Or maybe Garrick is jealous about Haer'Dalis' superior actings skills? The possibilities are endless, so I hope you start thinking of all the potential situations in the series where jealousy might pop up.

...yeah, I got nuthin'. But I think that's probably the most obvious example of jealousy in BG canon.

(Except in that case I don't think it's so much a mixture of love and hate as a mixture of hate, hate and hate with extra hate, hatesauce and hate garniture.)

I think that when it comes down to it people will always be more attracted to "normal". Wings and tails and horns can only be interesting so much.

And this is because the sort of implied rivalry I've seen in-game between Edwin and Xan...

Awww! These are sooo cute. Poor Garrick. i always thought it was most unfair on him. Eldoth was such a complete nothing! There should have been a possibility of getting rid of him, of making the girl (forgot her name) see trough him! As for "Im jealous of <charname>"... Truer drawing has never been drawn.
