Sorry for disturbing but I have a problem ...

I download all mods for Tactical Version BWP 6, I unpacked them in BG2 -SoA according procedure, I edit install.bat accordint Update news .... and I encounter an error (practicaly installer is blocked in this point ..attached image). I repeat all procedure (instal BG1 BG2 and mods) and the sam error .PLEASE help me

I had the same problem when installing Big World tactics version. Could anyone help us?

This is really wierd ..... can someone who installed Tactics version of BWP 6.0 tell if they did a successful install and give some feedback ..... pleeeese

I saw in windows task manager that it stops at Setup-A6XPPATCH.exe procces.....reapeted the install without Setup-A6XPPATCH mod and it's stoping at the next mod in order that is shown in task manager inactiv....

OK maybe somebody will find a solution for this "group" problem because I don't want to play BWP5.7 when exist BWP 6.


Will be sad for me, Neutowave and czm0.

Now, are you exactly sure that's not just a "pause mark that can be proceeded with pushing the Enter -button".

Yes I am sure is not a pause, because at first install I wait about one our and half, and at the second install I pres ENTER.

I'm sure too it wasn't any pause , it just stops , 'cuz I let it all the night ...
Maybe is something to do with these, that are just before installing corrections in BW install.bat:

type NUL> "Start BW Install.nul"
.....


Anyway, I made a very short tactic style install : bg2fixpack8,bgt,worldmap,bp,endbiff,widescreen and it was installing fine ....and the thing that those last lines about weidu backup from the wrong full install, didn't appeared in this short version.
I'll do once again a full tactic install without ascension and a6's mods
....and it passed the stuck point

Assuming my assumption is right, you need to remove the setup-Widescreen.tp2 and .exe cause the .exe is actually a WeiDU.exe V211beta... hint, look at it's size. This will be fixed by the Widescreen in the next version, when the WeiDU.exe v211 is ready.

This assumption is a result of two tests, first the start mods and few more(TDD, a6xpatch) but without the Widescreen mod and it didn't stop ...and then having realized the said difference... I went and had txtfix, bg2fixpack8, bgt, worldmap, bg2tweak, widescreen mod and something, and indeed it stopped there.

BWP 6.0 is rolling WONDERFULL with widescreen mod out of the way
